This is one aspect of being a celebrity that I do NOT admire: the scrutiny! Now Lady Gaga is experiencing it. Radar Online noticed Lady Gaga seemed to have gained some weight and speculates it’s due to alcohol consumption. Lady Gaga apparently has made no secret about drinking, saying in previous interviews that she follows “the drunk diet.”

“I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I am working.”

A nutritionist (who has not worked with Lady Gaga) looked at recent pictures of her and gave his opinion:

“Gaga appears to have gained at least 30 pounds. Alcohol sugars can only be stored as fats. Whereas most sugars can be used as fuel and whatever is left over is stored,” he revealed. So all that drinking adds up as fat pretty quickly, no matter what the rest of her diet is like.”

Pretty bold speculation for someone who has never worked with Lady Gaga! The singer reportedly is planning to lose 10 pounds by following a gluten-free diet, but nutritionists say that isn’t the best strategy.

“Gluten-free diets are for people who have allergies to gluten, are gluten sensitive or have Celiacs Disease – not for weight loss! They do not give people more energy. Energy comes from eating a well-balanced diet, drinking plenty of water, eliminating non-nutritive sources of calories (such as vodka), and exercising regularly and vigorously.

“If someone wants to try a gluten-free approach just for curiosity or to experience what other grains, rices, potatoes and yams taste like instead of wheat, then great! There are many things that contain gluten that aren’t particularly healthy, but that doesn’t make things that are gluten free automatically healthy either.”

I don’t blame Lady Gaga for covering up like she is in these pictures with this type of scrutiny!

Here’s a new trailer for the highly anticipated prequel to ‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy: ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.’ Are you ready for another trip to middle earth? I’m wondering about this one. On one hand, I completely respect Peter Jackson as a filmmaker. Yet bringing back characters who technically shouldn’t have been around at that time (like Orlando Bloom’s character) have me a little nervous.

I have to say, ‘The Lord of the Rings’ books are the ONLY instances where I actually preferred the movies to the books. So Much happens in the books, it’s like five books in each one!

Lindsay Lohan reportedly thinks she’s being “set up” after she was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of an accident. Lindsay is telling people she had no idea she’d hit anyone with her car. She denies anyone ever got out of the car to check for damage, and she wasn’t aware anything was going on until she was arrested.

Lindsay is calling the whole incident “really fishy” because the man did not seem to be injured. She reportedly has vowed to fight this. Of course. I don’t know what to think: I’m sure there are plenty of people looking to take advantage of Lindsay, yet she’s had so many problems! My question about this whole fiasco: WHY is Lindsay even behind the wheel? She’s in New York City right now. Cabs are your friend, Lindsay!

Melissa Joan Hart welcomed her third child last night: a baby boy! This is Melissa and husband Mark Wilkerson’s third son. Melissa’s rep confirmed to People that Tucker (his middle name is still being decided upon) was born on Tuesday night at 10 pm and weighed in at 8 lbs, 5 oz. Melissa and Mark said in a statement:

“Mom and Dad are elated and can’t wait to introduce him to his brothers.”

Tucker joins older brothers Mason (6 1/2) and Braydon (4). Congratulations!

A couple of days ago I posted a story about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reconciling as a “Fact or Fiction” post. Over 300 of you voted, and slightly more than half of you guessed (as I did) that the story of Kristen and Robert reconciling was “fiction.” Yet multiple sources claim Robert and Kristen have secretly met up in LA. A source told E! News the two have met up at two different locations.

A source told People that friends think Kristen and Robert ultimately will patch things up.

While Pattinson was completely heartbroken over the split, says another source, moving on is “easier said than done … and clearly harder than expected.”

It will certainly make all the promotion for the final ‘Twilight’ movie, ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ easier. If Rob and Kristen do get back together, I’ll be curious to see how long they stay together once ‘Twilight’ truly is over and this movie is released!

The cast of The CW’s 90210 is back on the working grind. On Tuesday afternoon, stars AnnaLynne McCord, Jessica Lowndes and Jessica Stroup got ready to film some more scenes for the upcoming fifth season.

Before the cameras started rolling, AnnaLynne wrapped up a call on her cell and then took her place beside Jessica Stroup in the stands. Meanwhile, Ms. Lowndes took the stage and embraced the enthusiastic crowd as she performed.

I am SOOOO excited about the new season of 90210! After a super shocking finale last spring, I have a feeling that season five is going to be explosive! Are YOU going to be tuning in?
