Tom Cruise has been given a lot to think about since his split from Katie Holmes, according to insiders. Sources tell People Tom is really missing Suri now that she’s based in New York full time with her mother and going to school. Tom hasn’t seen Suri since early August since he’s deep in pre-production on a movie in London. He reportedly told a friend:

“I’ve got to see her. I miss her.”

Tom and Suri reportedly talk multiple times a day, but I can see where that wouldn’t be enough. Insiders confide to Radar Online Tom is also reconsidering his membership in Scientology.

“Tom hasn’t admitted that he’s definitely leaving Scientology for good. But he’s distanced himself from those in the church and has been hanging out with good friends who aren’t part of the religion.

“Tom’s been leaning on friends who have different perspectives, getting advice on moving on from Katie as well as on everything he’s been going through with Scientology. He’s finally seeing that being such an advocate for Scientology hasn’t served him as well as he’d hoped — he’s gone through three divorces, and his public perception has sunk to an all-time low.”

I imagine Tom’s at a point in his life where he’s questioning everything, although he’s been so devoted to Scientology, I’m not sure if he’s really reconsidering that part of his life. I believe the stories that he didn’t see Katie’s divorce filing coming.
