A source close to Maria says she while she had her suspicions during their marriage that Arnold was unfaithful, she never had any concrete proof until she found out about the child he had with their former housekeeper, Mildred Baena. Friends say Maria was “crushed” when she found out, and she loved Arnold throughout their marriage. Regarding Arnold’s memoir, a friend close to Maria told TMZ:
“She knows the book is a big PR stunt to get back in the public’s good graces. [Maria is in no hurry to read the book because] What Maria has already been through … nothing surprises her anymore.”
