Mariah Carey was able to leave her ‘American Idol‘ drama behind yesterday afternoon and just enjoy time with her family in Santa Monica. Mariah and husband Nick Cannon took their twins, Monroe and Moroccan, to “Family Day” at the Santa Monica Pier. Moroccan was camera shy (I didn’t see a single picture of him in the entire set), but the same isn’t true of his sister. Doesn’t Monroe look adorable in her little white dress and sunglasses? She’s her mother’s daughter!

Mariah and Nick also enjoyed a roller coaster ride. Fun! Clearly Mariah isn’t letting the tension with fellow ‘American Idol’ judge Nicki Minaj get her down. Hopefully the two will be able to put their differences aside.
