Lady Gaga is going seriously green! Duke University reports Lady Gaga has had 19 species of fern named after her. Bottled water, ferns… is Lady Gaga laying the groundwork for something big related to the earth or nature? The press release says, in part:
“[one] newly discovered Mexican species is being dubbed Gaga monstraparva (literally monster-little) in honor of Gaga’s fans, whom she calls ‘little monsters.’”
There’s having a green thumb, and then there’s this! Goodness. Well, hey, if you like ferns, why not have a few species named after you? Lady Gaga was even nice enough to name one after her fans. I bet they’ll be growing it like crazy in no time.
