People close to Lindsay Lohan say she is “freaking out” since the IRS seized all of her bank accounts. Can you blame her? Who wouldn’t be?! They also say Lindsay is blaming others for her financial situation, saying her debt to the IRS “isn’t her fault.” The IRS says Lindsay owes a total of $233,904 for taxes owed from 2009 and 2010.

“Lindsay is freaking out. And she’s doing what she always does, which is to say it’s not her fault and point the finger at someone else in her team. She says she didn’t know anything about it … she’s broke and it’s not her fault.”

Another source seems confident the situation will be handled.

“The people hired to take care of it are taking care of it and it will be resolved by the end of the year.”

What’s there to work out if the IRS already has all of your money? Meanwhile, Michael Lohan is still sounding off. Now he’s talking about the $100,000 Charlie Sheen gave Lindsay to help pay her taxes.

“It was really generous of him. But he should have said, ‘I’ll give you the money for your taxes if you go into treatment.’”

Um, hello? Does Michael not know that Charlie “doesn’t believe” in rehab???

Now that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have announced they are expecting their first child, the couple are likely to hear a lot of this for the coming months: parenting tips. ‘Jersey Shore’ star Snooki is already stepping up to the plate. She had her first child, Lorenzo, just last August. Here’s Snooki’s advice:

“It’s hard, but don’t stress out. Enjoy your pregnancy and be excited. Enjoy your time at home – or the castle, in her case – with the baby. Especially the first few months.”

Something tells me Prince William and Kate Middleton are already stressing out! I bet they hadn’t planned to announce their news so early: her hospitalization probably forced them to announce the news before they wanted. But still, Snooki’s advice isn’t bad.

Anne Hathaway looks like she had fun for her Glamour photoshoot! The ‘Les Miserables‘ star covers the January issue of Glamour magazine. Although the photoshoot may have been fun, Anne had something serious to talk about: One Billion Rising, a cause she’s supporting. Here are some excerpts from Anne’s interview with Eve Ensler.

Eve Ensler: You were evacuated during Sandy. Can you talk about what this storm means to you?
Anne Hathaway: Eight million people across the nation are without power; dozens of people in the New York area have lost their lives. We can’t be in denial [about climate change] anymore. And I’m just making sure that everyone I love is OK, and trying to offer help wherever I can.

EE: Tell me about One Billion Rising.
AH: It’s hard to wrap my head around the fact that a billion women have been raped or beaten, just the enormity of that. When I was in college, I’d heard that one in four women would be raped, and I thought, God, that means I must know someone who was raped. Sure enough, I found out a week later that a friend had been. A billion is too big because one is too big.

EE: It seems to me that celebrities are kind of the new ruling class—they have all the money, all the power. What’s that like?
AH: You realize certain things. At this stage in my life—and this moment will not last forever—me walking my dog is news. And because I take very seriously the idea that I can make an impact in the world, I hold back my voice so I can make more of an impact when I do use it. A cause like One Billion Rising is something I want to scream about, and I want you to take that scream seriously because I don’t fall out of nightclubs. I don’t have photographers capture me spending untold amounts on a handbag. Of course, in the court of celebrity, if you try to be serious, you may look like a fool. In One Billion Rising you have activists and thinkers and “celebrities.” But I’m an actress. The celebrity thing just happened.

EE: We’re calling on one billion people to rise up and dance on February 14. Why do you dance?
AH: When I think back to some of the most fun nights of my life, it was just me out dancing without a care in the world. It’s a release, an outlet. And I’m a firm believer that we can tap into a collective energy and consciousness; on the 14th, even if you’re in a field dancing by yourself, you’re going to know you’re not alone. That’s something I hope we can carry forward as we resolve to protect ourselves and our sisters.

Alicia Keys is everywhere these days as her new album, ‘Girl on Fire,’ drops! Here’s Alicia on the January cover of Essence magazine. In her interview, Alicia opened up about learning how to create a work-life balance. She explained:

“It’s okay if I can’t do every single thing. I finally understand that it doesn’t make me a lesser artist or human being…”

Alicia also shared how they were unprepared for Hurricane Sandy.

“…After the third or fourth tuna fish sandwich, and after we learned we’d be without power for a week, I called my mother, who lives Uptown. She was okay and hadn’t lost any power, so we ended up going to her house. We were pretty lucky…”

Angelina Jolie doesn’t plan to act forever. The ‘Maleficent‘ star isn’t planning on retiring tomorrow, but Angelina does know when she plans to leave the big screen- or at least slow down.

 ”I think I’m going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home. I have enjoyed being an actress. I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even been able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered and I have done things for fun, but…

“I will do some films and I am so fortunate to have the job, it’s a really lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it.

But if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children. I wake up in the morning as a mum and I turn on the news like everybody else and I see what’s happening and I want to be part of the world in a positive way.”

We’ll see… Brad Pitt was saying he’s retire by the time he was 50, but now that he’ll turn 50 next year, he’s not so certain. Angelina is such a talented actress: I hope she’s able to keep acting at least a little. Her kids might just act with her!
