Historically, I’m not the biggest ‘Star Trek’ fan. The only one I ever got into was ‘Star Trek:  The Next Generation.’ But I’m a huge fan of J.J. Abrams, so I was willing to give him a chance when he directed the ‘Star Trek‘ reboot. It Was GREAT! I’ve been excited about the ‘Star Trek’ sequel since I walked out of the theater after seeing the first one. Here’s the first teaser trailer for that sequel: ‘Star Trek Into Darkness.’

Of course Chris Pine as Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock are back. Zoe Saldana didn’t have much to do Uhura in the first movie, but I see she’s back for the sequel. I must say, if this trailer is any indication, then ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ is going to be INTENSE. I can’t wait! Are you excited?

Gerard Butler was looking suave at the premiere of his new movie, ‘Playing for Keeps.’ No jeans and t-shirt on the red carpet for this guy! I like it when a guy takes the time to dress up. When I see some male stars on the red carpet in jeans and a button down shirt or something, I just want to roll my eyes. I know plenty of guys aren’t crazy about dressing up, but come on, you don’t have to go to movie premieres every day!

Rumor has it Gerard and Jessica Biel enjoyed a fling while on set. Supposedly he even regrets breaking up with her. Jessica and Justin Timberlake had split up before she shot ‘Playing for Keeps,’ so she was unattached. Do you think that’s why Gerard and Jessica didn’t pose for any pics together? Maybe some other photo agencies got a shot of them together, but I haven’t seen any so far.

Pink carried a sleepy-looking Willow out as they left ITV Studios. Pink did NOT look happy about the waiting paparazzi outside. I completely understand Pink not wanting her daughter to be photographed. It seems odd not to expect it outside of a studio, though.

I can’t imagine trying to handle parenting and celebrity. Celebs work long hours. It makes complete sense that they would bring their child along with them to work sometimes. Yet I can also understand wanting to protect your child’s privacy. Do you do like Kate Winslet and just not take them to work? It’s tough.

Drew Barrymore visited Ellen DeGeneres on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ The first-time mom explained why she named her daughter Olive.

“I never would have guessed that would of been the name. But I was reading a book with my husband, and I was three months pregnant. They said your baby is the size of an Olive and that was it. We never looked back.”

Ellen teased Drew it could’ve been worse, like peanut or grapefruit or kidney bean. LOL! Drew played along.

“It could have been. It was a lot of fruits and vegetables. Kidney’s not such a fun name. We were work shopping a few [names], as all people do who are so blessed to get to do this do. And then once the light was shed, there was just no turning back.”

Drew also gushed about her daughter a little, like any proud new mama would.

“[Olive is] a good baby. I count my lucky stars every day because she is . . . really interactive and happy and like nice to people. She’s a nice person.”

OMG! Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas really has had an amazing life story, and she’s only a teenager! Gabby talks about the struggles she and her family faced before she won big in London in her memoir, ‘Grace, Gold, and Glory: My Leap of Faith.’ Gabby explained:

“It wasn’t easy. I went through a lot of difficulties and struggles and money problems. We were homeless.”

Can you imagine?! Gabby also opened up about her relationship with her father.

“He wasn’t really in the picture. He wasn’t really there for me but I hope when he reads my book, he can relate to how I felt and hopefully we’ll build a stronger and better relationship in the future.

“I was kind of shocked [to see him at the Olympics] because I hadn’t seen him in so long. For him to show up at trials was just mind-blowing.”

I guess so! This is definitely going in my TBR list!

Demi Moore seems to be having quite a bit of fun down in Miami. Here’s video of Demi having a very good time with rocker (and ‘The Hunger Games’ star) Lenny Kravitz. I have to admit, I’m a little worried that Demi’s having too much of a good time. She got out of rehab a while ago, but this seems like a bit much.

I wonder if Demi was hamming it up for the cameras. Why spend so much time dancing with Lenny and not with her new boyfriend otherwise? In the video, it says people were “bemused” by her behavior. I just hope Demi’s doing okay.
