Katie Holmes isn’t the only actress currently starring in a play! Jessica Chastain is in the middle of a run of ‘The Heiress.’ ‘The Help’ star stopped to greet fans and sign autographs after a performance. We don’t hear much about Jessica, but she’s a talented actress.

I’m really looking forward to seeing her in ‘Zero Dark Thirty.’ Jessica plays the CIA agent who actually figured out where Osama Bin Laden was hiding. The CIA agent is the one who pieced together the intel so SEAL Team 6 could do the raid. I’m sure Jessica is amazing in the part.

This is one celebrity couple that REALLY wanted to remain anonymous to their surrogate!

This award-winning film actor is Hollywood royalty. He and his wife, who have been married for more than 5 years, decided that they wanted a baby to complete their family.

They chose the surrogacy route. Because they are celebrities, theyworked through an agency, and chose to remain anonymous throughout the process.

 

The surrogate was successfully impregnated, and everything was going well. But then, she got curious. She started talking. A lot. “Who are the parents? Are they celebrities? Are they royalty? Are they in The Mafia? Why is their identity such a secret?”

 

When the star and his wife found out that the surrogate was determined to know the parents’ identity, they were furious! The wife told agency, “How dare she! Let her abort it. I don’t care.”

 

The agency staff was shocked, and scrambled to fix the situation. They reminded the surrogate that she signed a contract and was receiving big $$$ for the baby. She eventually carried the pregnancy to term, the couple got the baby, the surrogate got the money… and she still doesn’t know that she carried this star’s baby.

Amanda Seyfried opted for a dramatic gown for the world premiere of her new movie, ‘Les Miserables.’ The talk of Anne Hathaway getting an Oscar for her acting in the movie has been so strong, it’s been easy to forget that Amanda is also in the movie! What do you think of her dress here? I’m a fan.

The only place you could ever wear a dress like this is an event like a movie premiere. Go, Amanda, for taking advantage of the opportunity. She looks fantastic. LOVE the white ruffles.Typically I’m not crazy about ruffles, but if you’re going to wear them, this is the way to do it.

I wonder what Patrick Dempsey is up to in Miami? It’s probably something to do with race car driving. He seems to love that! This is probably a quick trip for Patrick. ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘ is likely still shooting right now. That’s one of the upsides of being on an ensemble show: you’re not in virtually every scene, so you can get a few days off here and there.

Are you watching ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ this season? What do you think of it? Personally, I’m STILL mourning McSteamy. I didn’t realize how much I liked him until he was gone.

Ryan Phillippe and Deacon are getting ready for the holiday season! The father-son duo were spotted picking up a Christmas tree. They got a good sized one, too. It’ll be fun for Ryan, Deacon, and Ava to decorate. It looks like Ava wasn’t able to make it to pick out the tree, but I’m sure she’ll be on hand to help put the ornaments on.

I’m sure Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth have a Christmas tree, too. Ava and Deacon get to decorate two trees. That’s probably fun for them. Add in a new baby brother to the mix, and the holidays are looking great for this family.

Uma Thurman was looking FAB in a chic black pantsuit! She’s also in the movie ‘Playing for Keeps,’ so she was at the New York premiere last night. Uma welcomed her daughter, Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence Thurman-Busson (called Luna) just last July. She’s looking great. Go Uma!

I don’t have any information on Uma’s role in ‘Playing for Keeps.’ Given her stature as an actress, I’m guessing it’s a good one, even if it may be a small part. Just one more reason to check out the movie.
