Tom Cruise has been BUSY making films! I don’t remember ever hearing about this one. Tom stars in a dystopian movie called ‘Oblivion.’ Between Tom and Morgan Freeman, I am SOLD.

The thing about stars like Tom and Will Smith is that they know how to create good movies. From the script to the director to their own performance, they put together a team that’s going to deliver an entertaining film. This looks like a nail-biter. Are you interested?

Rihanna was ravishing in red as she left a Paris recording studio. Wonder what she was taping? I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough! If the diamond stud earrings Rihanna’s wearing are any indication, it could be related to her ‘Diamonds’ song.

Rihanna reportedly flew over to Paris after spending the weekend in Germany with Chris Brown. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised, I’m sad to say. Well, I’m sure she has people around her who can intervene and keep her safe if things get out of hand. I hope that’s the case, at least.

Nothing gets between Jennifer Garner and her coffee! She needed a caffeine fix while hanging out with a friend, so the mom of three put baby Samuel into his stroller and off they went. Welcome to the world of being a mother. You just have to figure out how to make things work and Get It Done.

Jennifer’s back in New Orleans to continue filming ‘The Dallas Buyers Club.’ Ben Affleck will be shooting ‘Focus’ with Kristen Stewart next spring. Maybe Jennifer can squeeze in a movie this winter? She might be ready for a break by then! Jen and Ben have said they trade off: only one works on a movie at a time. That’s great for their kids: a parent is always at home with them. It must be challenging for their work schedules, though.

You can’t say Anne Hathaway doesn’t sacrifice for her art! She admitted she had to make QUITE the sacrifice while filming ‘Les Miserables.’ And it was far worse than chopping off her hair. Anne had to stay in a dark place while shooting ‘Les Miserables.’

That’s the one hesitation I have about seeing ‘Les Miserables.’ I generally don’t like sad movies, and ‘Les Miserables’ is a good old-fashioned tragedy. Well, I love the story. I’ll just have to stock up on kleenex. The holidays will cheer me back up again once I leave the theater.

I like this cover of Kyra Sedgwick: she looks genuinely happy here! ‘The Closer‘ star graces the cover of the January edition of Good Housekeeping magazine. Kyra opened up about her marriage to Kevin Bacon and about being 47 in Hollywood.

On her husband, Kevin Bacon: “I don’t know how he does it, but he always makes me feel like I’m the most beautiful woman in the room—the only girl in the room. He says, ‘Honey, you look beautiful. You are sexy!’ Always, always, always! He is so honorable. He is so ethically true. He has high moral standards, and he doesn’t lie and he doesn’t cheat—and I find that sexy!”

On living alone again now that their kids are grown and have moved out: “there’s a lot more walking around the house naked.”

On being 47 in Hollywood: “I really want to embrace my age.” Kyra often turns to her girlfriend Good Wife star Julianna Margulies for support. “Julianna and I talk about it a lot when we see each other, and that’s helpful. We want to age gracefully and naturally and play roles commensurate with our age.”

Maybe, as the baby boomers get older, Hollywood will start being more open to over-40 actresses? I hope so- you still have a lot of living to do after turning 40! You can read Kyra’s entire interview in the January edition of Good Housekeeping, which hits newsstands on December 18.

Kristen Stewart lined up another post-’Twilight’ role! In addition to returning as Snow White, Kristen signed on to star with Ben Affleck in a movie called ‘Focus.’ Kristen herself confirmed the news.

“I can confirm that rumor. It’s a comedy. I’m really excited about it. We start shooting in April.”

Kristen will play an inexperienced con artist who gets mentored by a more seasoned Ben, according to Deadline Hollywood. It apparently includes some steamy love scenes, so maybe it’s a romantic comedy? Ben himself supported Kristen’s casting. I’ll have to keep an eye out for the trailer. These two could end up making a good pair on-screen! Are you interested?
