Reading this interview, I couldn’t help but think: Sienna Miller sounds SO much like a new mom! She’s clearly settling into motherhood well, loving everything about it from childbirth on. Sienna admitted in an interview she can’t bear to be apart from her daughter, Marlowe.

“My life is really different: it’s much better. People told me not to have kids, but I think motherhood’s got a bad rep – I don’t feel compromised. In fact I don’t want to be anywhere else except with her.

“It’s still the most surreal thing, that you can create, that I grew this life inside my stomach, her eyeballs, everything – every little fibre. And I’d expected that she’d be this extension of me and I’d instantly understand who she was because she’d come from me, and then you realise that they are their own people entirely. Very connected to you, of course. But they’re their own person.”

Yeah, she’s a new mother in love with her baby. Awww….

Reese Witherspoon said she’s working on getting back to her pre-baby weight after giving birth to son Tennessee a couple of months ago. She said it’s a struggle.

“I don’t know if I’m bouncing back. I’m slowly crawling back. You know, all of your joints feel wobbly, and your head is sort of confused. You just have to be gentle and patient with yourself and just sort of, you know…slowly get back to your health.”

LOOK at Reese: she may not actually be at her pre-pregnancy weight, but you wouldn’t know it from looking at her! I agree, though, you do have to be gentle with yourself right after giving birth. Reese shared a conversation she had with a friend not long ago.

“She wanted to know how she was going to feel in that moment and what it would be like when you meet your baby for the very first time. And I was talking to Jim, my husband, and I said, ‘Can you imagine describing that moment of pure joy that happens when your child is in your arms for the very first time.’ I mean, what are the words?!

“We are parents that know the joy of having a beautiful, brilliant, joyful, perfect baby. That somehow heaven has opened up and delivered us an angel [who] looks adorable in every angle of an iPhone photo. And, in my case, looks gorgeous printed on a bag or a pillow or an iPhone cover – anything you can get on TinyPrints!”

It is indescribable. Reese sounds like she’s enjoying every minute with her new little one!

Gwyneth Paltrow probably had fun at this photoshoot: she got to work with her personal trainer/close friend, Tracy Anderson! The two chatted with Redbook about body issues, Gwyneth’s big birthday (she turned 40!), and why Tracy’s diet and exercise routine works. Here are some excerpts from their joint interview:

On Gwyneth’s body issues (yes, she had some):
Tracy: Gwyneth had extra weight she couldn’t drop from her pregnancy with Moses, and she needed to get in shape for her first action film, Iron Man.
Gwyneth: With my daughter it had been easier, but this time, no matter what I did, I felt stuck. I couldn’t shift the weight. But I met Tracy and she was this force from the second I met her. She pulled my pants off. I’ll never forget it. She was like, “Oh, my God, wow, I just am so surprised, because you look so good in clothes. I wasn’t expecting this.”

On how Gwyneth marked her 40th birthday:
The morning of my 40th birthday, my children and husband woke me up with hugs and gifts, and I proceeded to have the best week of my life. I feel really happy being 40, now that I’m on the other side of it. There was definitely some uncomfortable anticipation. But I’m amazed at what I’ve been able to accomplish, that I’ve maintained my important relationships and have such incredible women friends, that I have two funny, beautiful children who can give me a real life. In a way, I feel like no one should make big life decisions until 40. It’s when it all starts to settle and become clear.

Gwyneth, on the significance of her 40th birthday:
I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, but I have the good fortune of knowing what they are. I can recognize my limitations, forgive myself, and celebrate the fact that I have made it to this important birthday with the information I need to keep making corrections.

On how Tracy’s method helps:
Gwyneth: Because it did such wonders for my life, my confidence, my sex life, everything.
Tracy: When you feel your best, you’re more confident in bed, It’s not lights-out, under-the-covers sex. It’s more like, “Take a look at this!”

Hayden Panettiere now has some fodder for a country music song; maybe she can use it for something on ‘Nashville‘? She has split from her boyfriend Scotty McKnight. A source said:

“Hayden Panettiere and her football player boyfriend Scotty McKnight are officially broken up. The two broke up a couple of weeks ago … but it wasn’t a nasty breakup. They are still really good friends. They will probably be back together sometime down the road.”

Can you tell how excited I am about seeing ‘Les Miserables‘ on the big screen? I’m even looking at behind-the-scenes featurettes about it! I can NOT wait to see Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman, and Amanda Seyfried along with the rest of the stellar cast for this movie. I’ve already stocked up on kleenex- LOL.

Are you looking forward to ‘Les Miserables’? I think part of it comes down to how you feel about musicals and tragedies. If either one isn’t your thing, then ‘Les Miserables’ isn’t your thing. You know, I’ve wondered this about some celebrities who talk about major world issues. This celeb didn’t make good on all those promises. Here’s the item:

This superstar made lots of promises to help these people in a foreign country, and received tons of publicity as a result. However, you would be hard-pressed to find locals who still have a lot of love for her. That’s because when the publicity waned, so did her interest in helping. She has almost completely abandoned the project, leaving locals even worse off than they were before she got there.
