Ever since it was first reported that Jessica Simpson was pregnant with her second child she’s kept mum on whether the rumours are true, or not. But after seeing her out with fiance Eric Johnson today in Calabasa wearing an oversized sweater I think we can safely say the rumours are true.

I think the fact that Jessica was looking so slim and trim while on Weight Watchers after the birth of daughter Maxwell and now she’s back to wearing baggy clothes is a tell tale sign, don’t you?  I wonder how long before Jessica finally confirms the pregnancy – or do you think she’s waiting to sell her story to a magazine?

You have to admit: Kanye West knows how to Steal The Show. Everyone’s abuzz over Kanye’s outfit for his performance last night at the 12 12 12 Concert. So what’s got tongues wagging? The skirt. USA Today reports twitter was filled with comments. Kim Kardashian, of course, was a fan, tweeting:

“Awwwwwwww I’m so excited right now!!!!! He looks so cute!!”

Others, um, didn’t have quite the same reaction. Some tweets:

• “Kanye must have swapped suitcases with Kim Kardashian.”
• ‘Wear this black trash bag as a skirt. Then, just kinda run around the stage scaring white people’ – Kanye West’s manager before the show”
• “Maybe a new item from the Kardashian collection?”
• “Kanye West looks like the episode when Steve Urkel became a cheerleader!!!!”

One person didn’t hate it, tweeing: ”I love that @kanyewest went from pink popped collars to leggings and kilts in 10 years and he’s still on top of the game.”

I don’t know what’s going on but it seems like we’re seeing a whole lot of futuristic dystopian style dramas coming out soon.  Between After Earth, Oblivion and now this trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim, alien invader movies are the new vampire movies!  Pacific Rim stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day and Ron Perlman and opens July 12th. We heard recently that Olivia Wilde was selling her California home and moving in with Jason Sudekis in New York City. Could it be the reason Olivia’s re-locating across the country isn’t just because she wants to focus on the relationship but because they’re engaged? Makes sense to me! The couple reportedly are planning to marry in Jason’s hometown of Kansas City. A source dished to Radar Online:

“Everyone in town is buzzing about the wedding. They have already booked the venue and are in the process of finalizing the rest of the details.

“Jason is a hometown boy at heart, and he is super close to his family and all his friends there. It has always been his dream to get married back in Kansas City.”

Olivia’s also supposedly been seen wearing a diamond ring on that finger. Well, if this story is true, then congratulations to the couple!

Well Kate Middleton might have cancelled her appearance at the The Royal Film Performance of ‘The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey’ but her husband, Prince William was there to represent for the Royals.  The Prince rubbed elbows with all the celebrities as he walked the red carpet along with stars Cate Blanchett and Sir Ian Mckellen.

How much do you love Cate’s dress?  I love that it’s so conservative in the front but once she turns around the back is so dramatic and sexy!  Cate always looks amazing on the red carpet and tonight is no exception.  I also love Sir Ian rocking the royal blue lined overcoat on the red carpet!  That is definitely one way to add some colour to the basic blakc suit.

More awards season fun! The nominations for the 2013 Golden Globes are out. These are considered predictors of the Academy Awards: many of the nominations in the categories are the same or very similar. ‘Les Miserables’ stars Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman have a lot to be happy about! ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence likely are excited, too.

And it looks like Ben Affleck may get some recognition for directing, although he’s facing stiff competition from the likes of Kathryn Bigelow, Steven Spielberg, and Quentin Tarantino. Best of all, Leonardo DiCaprio is finally getting some LONG OVERDUE recognition!
