Now THIS is a match-up that will be worth watching on the big screen! Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe  go head-to-head on the big screen. Catherine Zeta-Jones looks like she’s more than just the wife caught in the middle, too. ‘Broken City’ stars Mark, Russell, and Catherine.

It looks like Mark stars as a police officer who did some work for the city’s mayor, Russell’s character. The work apparently involved finding out who the mayor’s wife (Catherine’s character) was having an affair with. Somehow, the man the mayor’s wife is sleeping with turns up dead, Mark’s character is blamed, and Mark goes looking for revenge. Sound interesting? It’s interesting to me with this cast! Guess who? That’s former ‘Desperate Housewives‘ star Eva Longoria. She’s arriving on a flight at LAX. Something tells me Eva was NOT in the mood to be recognized!

Eva’s all bundled up and wearing dark sunglasses. I’m not sure I would’ve recognized her if the pictures weren’t labeled. Wonder where Eva was coming back from? I’m guessing New York or some other place that isn’t as warm as California, based on her outfit.

Pink is back home in LA. She was seen stopping by the grocery store. Willow must’ve been at home with dad Carey Hart. Pink and Willow spent some time together in London; they got home just in time for the holidays.

This is Willow’s first Christmas where she has some sense of what’s going on. At 18 months, Willow may not understand the whole meaning of Christmas, but she’ll realize new toys are out for her to play with. Exciting! I bet Pink and Carey are having a ball getting ready. They may not be going all-out like Katie Holmes, but it’s still fun to shop for all the different toys and everything.

‘X Factor‘ judge Britney Spears took Sean and Preston (and their new little dog) on her Starbucks run. It’s a low-key outing for the kids. And sometimes the caffeine boost is simply a necessity. California must have pet-friendly laws, however. I’m surprised Britney was allowed to take a dog inside.

Britney doesn’t have her little pooch in a carrier or anything, just in her arms! Well, whatever works. I can’t believe how big Preston and Sean are getting. They’re adorable and seem to be doing well. That’s good to see.

Selena Gomez stopped by Panera Bread in Encino. Looks like she was out solo. I wonder how things are going with Selena and on-again/off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber? Well, regardless of what happens between them, they’ll be okay. We all remember our first big romance and breakup, right?

Hopefully Selena’s got big plans for the holidays. I wonder if she’ll spend it in LA or her native Texas? If she goes back to Texas, she’ll at least get a break from the paparazzi! But I think her mother’s moved to LA as well. If that’s the case, then they’ll likely be celebrating Christmas among the palm trees.

This is exciting holiday news! ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation‘ star Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, are expecting their first child. Their rep announced:

 ”[Channing and Jenna] are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year.”

What a way to wrap up an incredible year! Channing has been On FIRE at the box office, between ‘The Vow,’ ’21 Jump Street,’ and ‘Magic Mike.’ The studio was even forced to re-shoot ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ and keep his character alive after test audiences were upset about his character’s death. Talk about validation. Congratulations to Channing and Jenna!
