The Australian premiere of ‘Les Miserables‘ was a guys-only event! Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowedonned their tuxes and worked the red carpet, along with other men in the cast of ‘Les Miserables.’ Neither Hugh’s wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, nor Russell’s possibly estranged wife, Danielle Spencer, were in attendance (or at least, they didn’t pose for the cameras). But neither Hugh nor Russell seem to mind. If anything, they seemed to have fun getting all the attention themselves- LOL. Check out the picture in the gallery of the two crouched down as if preparing to sprint across the red carpet.
I didn’t even know Russell was IN ‘Les Miserables’ until I saw a poster for the movie. He has second billing, right after Hugh and before Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried. Russell was hard at work on the set of ‘Winter’s Tale,’ so he couldn’t attend the rest of the premieres and promotional events, I guess. ‘Les Miserables’ is #1 in advance ticket sales for Christmas day. Do you have your ticket yet?
