Paparazzi caught up with Jessica Szohr in West Hollywood. The former ‘Gossip Girl‘ star was seen shopping at Kitson. She looks upbeat! Jessica must have some fun holiday plans in store. Then again, just shopping for presents can be fun if you know what you want and can find it. It’s when you either don’t know what you want or can’t find it that things become stressful.

Jessica’s been working hard since leaving ‘Gossip Girl.’ She has FIVE projects completed and ready to go, according to IMDb. Jessica should be having a fun holiday season; she’s worked hard and earned it!

‘Dancing with the Stars‘ pro Cheryl Burke is celebrating Christmas on the beach! Here’s the ‘DWTS’ pro with her mother in Hawaii. The two went on an early morning stroll.Hawaii has such a wonderful atmosphere: so beautiful and tranquil. It’s a great place to vacation.

I bet Christmas is low-key there, too. There are FAR worse places to celebrate the holiday. Then it’s back to the grind with a new season of ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ I’m sure. Cheryl is one of the pros we don’t hear as much about in terms of the drama. It’s smart for her to steer clear of it and just dance and coach her celebrity. Hopefully she’ll get paired with a celeb who can learn how to dance well next season.

Ashley Tisdale and boyfriend Scott Speer got to work on their holiday shopping yesterday! Ashley even met up with her adorable little niece, Mikayla, inside the store. They stopped at Burton Snowboards. I think it would be safe to say that Ashley and Scott plan to hit the slopes as part of their holiday fun.

Ashley seems to be doing well in her post- Disney life. We knew Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron were likely to go on to big careers after ‘High School Musical.’ Ashley also has worked steadily, both in between filming the ‘High School Musical’ movies and afterwards. Good for her!

Amanda Peet got someone a nice gift! Or maybe she treated herself to something nice. As a mother of two, I’m sure she deserves it. We haven’t seen much of Amanda in a while in terms of being out and about.

But Amanda’s been working (career-wise, in addition to the home front). If you watch ‘The Good Wife,’ then you’ve seen her on that show. Amanda also has three completed projects for 2013: ‘The Way, Way Back,’ ‘Trust Me,’ and ‘Identity Thief.’ So I bet we’re going to be seeing a lot of Amanda in the new year!
