Demi Moore & Ashton Kutcher Divorce Hold-Up Over Money
Posted on December 24, 2012 at 1:00 PM
Oh, boy. Ashton Kutcher may have finally filed for divorce over a year after Demi Moore left him, but the year-long wait doesn’t seem likely to make this divorce any more peaceful, if TMZ’s story is accurate. Sources tell TMZ the reason Demi hadn’t filed so far was over financial issues. Apparently, she wants a lot of money from Ashton.
Demi reportedly got a lot of money from Bruce Willis when they divorced. She is said to want something similar from Ashton. The problem? Demi has more money than Ashton, so he’s probably not willing to give her that type of settlement. If that’s true, then something tells me a court will side with Ashton if it comes to that. I bet Demi wants something since Ashton cheated on her. I don’t necessarily blame her, but I’m not sure that’s enough of a justification for a large settlement. What do you think?

Leonardo DiCaprio On His ‘Django Unchained’ Character
Posted on December 24, 2012 at 12:30 PM
Leonardo DiCaprio is known as one of the best actors in Hollywood. (So where is his Oscar already?) From what I’ve seen in the previews, he does his usual amazing job in ‘Django Unchained.’ Leo talked to USA Today about the part and choosing directors to work with.
“[My character] is a self-indulgent, racist b*stard.” He found it in Django‘s slave-owning Calvin Candie, a character DiCaprio says “represents the moral decay of a corrupt South then.”
DiCaprio says that while he was in the mood to play a reprobate, “you have to be careful who you trust that power with. I’ve seen good material go to the wrong filmmaker, and it never captures what you believed the story was supposed to be. I guess you could say I target most of the directors I want to work with.”
Quentin Tarantino, the director of ‘Django Unchained,’ said he initially had been thinking of an older actor for the part.
“I was thinking, possibly, of an older actor. And then Leo read the script and liked it and we got together and started talking.”
How do you say no to Leonardo DiCaprio? I am really looking forward to ‘Django Unchained.’ Are you?

Russell Crowe Hangs Out With His Sons
Posted on December 24, 2012 at 12:00 PM
Russell Crowe said his first priority after he finished his filming obligations was to try to put his family back together. The ‘Les Miserables‘ star is making good on that promise. Here’s Russell hanging out with his sons, Charles and Tennyson, and some family friends. I bet they’re glad to see their dad again!
There’s no sign of Russell’s wife, Danielle Spencer. I don’t think anyone should read too much into it. Hopefully it’s not a sign of trouble. The holidays can be a great time for families to reconnect. That may be the case for the Crowe clan.

Hot New Trailer: Ryan Gosling & Bradley Cooper ‘Place Beyond The Pines’
Posted on December 24, 2012 at 11:30 AM
Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper teamed up for the big screen in ‘The Place Beyond The Pines.’ I have to say, it looks fantastic! Ryan plays a guy faced with unexpected fatherhood. When he finds out he had a child with an ex-girlfriend (played by Eva Mendes), he’s determined to do the right thing. For Ryan, that means breaking the law.
Bradley, meanwhile, is a police officer investigating his crimes. It looks like both Ryan and Bradley do an amazing job in their roles. And this must be where real-life couple Ryan and Eva met. Awww… Does this look good to you?
Lance Armstrong Sued Over Doping Allegations Story
Posted on December 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM
And the hits just keep on coming for Lance Armstrong. In 2006, London’s The Sunday Times paid the cyclist about $550,000 (600,000 pounds) after Lance sued them for libel when they printed allegations about him doping. Now that the USADA has determined that Lance did, indeed, illegally use performance-enhancing drugs, The Sunday Times is suing him. The paper wrote a letter to Lance’s lawyers and published some excerpts.
“It is clear that the proceedings were baseless and fraudulent. Your representations that you had never taken performance enhancing drugs were deliberately false. The Sunday Times is now demanding a return of the settlement payment plus interest.”
The paper is suing for more than $1.6 million. Well, you can’t really blame the paper, can you?

Must- See PHOtos!

Rihanna isn’t just lying around and relaxing in her native Barbados for the holidays. She’s giving back, too. Rihanna donated $1.75 million to a Bridgetown’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The gift was given in memory of her grandmother, who passed away last summer. Rihanna explained in a statement:
The hospital will name its cancer treatment center after Rihanna’s late grandmother. It will be called the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. Rihanna opened up about her grandmother.
What a wonderful thing to do and perfect for the holidays!
