OMG! I’d heard Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris got back together. I’d even heard the two became engaged again. This time they meant business: Hugh and Crystal married last night at the Playboy Mansion. What a way to kick off 2013! Hugh posted some pics (including the wedding pic) and tweeted:

Crystal & I married on New Year’s Eve in the Mansion with Keith as my Best Man. Love that girl!

Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hefner!

Crystal admitted to Us Weekly after they reunited that their relationship problems were because of her.

“When the wedding didn’t work out the first time, it was because of me. I needed to explore out there and take the time away [from Hef and the Mansion]. The time away really helped make me realize that where I’m meant to be is here with Hef. Our relationship is better than it ever has been before. I’m very happy and Hef’s very happy and we’re excited.”

I’m really surprised. I mean, Crystal went so far as to sell her first engagement ring! Well, I wish them both the best. (And hopefully Hef had a lawyer prepare a sound prenup.) Congratulations!

Eva Mendes (hopefully) got 2013 off to a good start. She was spotted going in for a check-up at the California Health & Longevity Institute. Eva was accompanied by someone simply identified as a “friend.” The guy obviously isn’t boyfriend Ryan Gosling!

Perhaps it was actually the “friend’s” check-up. Regardless, both Eva and her friend look to be in good health. Let’s hope this is one case where looks truly aren’t deceiving. Do you think we’ll see her as a bride in 2013? Maybe Eva and Ryan will make things official. You never know…

I feel sad for whoever this actress is. Real friends are apparently hard to come by. Here are the deets:

This B list mostly television actress is slipping quickly. Some might say that she has gone from almost A list to C list. Still great name recognition. Her problem is that no one wants to hire her and she feels like her “friends” are leaving her since she is not as hot anymore so ends up buyingher friends. Those closest to her never had a Christmas so good. She wants an entourage and pays heavily for it. That hit show money is not going to last long.

Jessica Chastain doesn’t seem to perform daily performances on the stage as a grind. She looks pumped up and ready to go before heading into the theatre to perform in ‘The Heiress.’ Jessica even stopped to greet fans outside. I think 2013 is going to be Jessica’s year.

The ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ star is already getting plenty of critical acclaim. But we don’t see a lot of her in the media. Maybe that’s by design: she may be more interested in being an actress than in being a celebrity. Something tells me, though, that at the  very least, the general public is going to know who Jessica Chastain is by the end of the award’s season. What do you think?

The paparazzi caught up with Susan Boyle outside her home in Glasgow. The ‘I Dreamed a Dream‘ singer was simply going for a stroll. Susan looks like she’s doing well. She seemed to take the paparazzi in stride.

At one point, she even stopped and posed. Go Susan! Fame isn’t easy to handle. She seems to be coping better these days. Maybe she’ll have a new album in 2013? Her fans would be thrilled.

Kevin Bacon did his best to go incognito while picking up some groceries at Gelson’s grocery store. We see you, Kevin! Looks like he and wife Kyra Sedgwick are planning to do some New Year’s entertaining. Maybe this is the division of labor: Kevin gets the groceries and Kyra does the cooking?

It’s not the most equitable split (cooking takes A LOT longer than shopping). However, if you have someone who doesn’t know how to cook, then the grocery shopping is one way they can help out. Chopping is another thing they can do, if you don’t have a food processor. If the one who doesn’t know how to cook is really smart, he picks up a food processor as well while he’s out- LOL.
