Now that Kanye West has announced the big news, Kim Kardashian is opening up about her pregnancy. Kim reportedly is about 12 weeks along. She told Us Weekly:

“I have felt good. I haven’t had any morning sickness, but it still isn’t the easiest. People always say it’s easy and fun. It’s definitely an adjustment learning about your body and stuff like that. I’ve been feeling really good so that’s good.”

Be grateful for no morning sickness, Kim! A lot of women feel very tired during the first trimester, but most would take the extra sleeping any day over the nausea- LOL.

Kris Allen’s 2013 is getting off to a mixed start. First, I’ll start with the not-so-great news. The ‘American Idol‘ winner was in a bad car accident: a head-on collision. He broke his wrist. OUCH! His wife, Katy Allen, reportedly suffered some injuries as well. But while announcing this not-so-great news yesterday, Kris framed it in the most positive way possible on twitter. He tweeted:

“Thank you @ford for equipping me with a car that kept my whole family @katyallen @ZorroPup and the little one we have on the way safe.”

So Kris and Katy are having a baby! The couple may have had to spend New Year’s Day in the ER,  but it will surely look up for them. Hopefully when they’re next in the hospital, it’ll be for something wonderful: the arrival of their new baby. Congratulations!

Engaged couple Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb kicked off 2013 in dramatic fashion. They ended up getting thrown out of Miami club Story after Nick reportedly got into a brawl with others there. Goodness! Sofia, Nick, and her son, Manolo, were guests of Sofia’s ex-boyfriend, Chris Paciello, for New Year’s Eve. A “spy” told Page Six:

“Nick seemed tense around Chris, who was hosting them in the VIP section, even though he and Sofia are just friends. In the early hours, Nick and Sofia were arguing before he got into a dispute with somebody at a neighboring table. Some pushing and shoving started.

“Sofia stepped in to try to calm the situation, but somehow she ended up getting pushed and shoved also. Her strapless dress was torn or pulled down in the melee, exposing her cleavage in front of other people and her son Manolo who was so offended he left the club. It was crazy.”

OMG! I can see where seeing his mother topless would NOT have been a high point for Manolo. The source continued:

“Nick was pulled away from Sofia and those at the next table by security guards, who dragged him out of the VIP section and threw him out of the club. Sofia followed him.”

Another source adds, “Things got pretty heated, but she was never hit. Nick was pretty bruised from struggling with security. None of the drama was Sofia’s fault, but despite the big scene [Loeb] created, they made up outside the club, and she took him back to their hotel.”

Talk about high drama! At least it sounds like Sofia and Nick weren’t angry with each other for the NYE countdown. A rep for Sofia declined to comment, while Nick’s rep did not return Page Six’s request for a comment. Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt!

Ke$ha’s the covergirl for Seventeen magazine’s February issue. The ‘Tik Tok‘ singer looks very tame here, doesn’t she? I think she looks great! Here are some excerpts from Ke$ha’s interview:

On attraction: “I don’t love just men. I love people. It’s not about a gender. It’s just about the spirit that exudes from that other person you’re with.”

On dealing with negativity: “I used it to motivate me then, and I still do. I remember every person who told me I couldn’t do something or that I was ugly or too fat. I have a “s*** list”—people from my past who have been soulless and judgmental. Even after I got through my awkward phase, got my braces off, and figured out how to dress my body, people in the music business were like, “You’re never going to make it.” I see them now and I’m like, “Ha!” That’s one of the reasons I named my record Warrior. You can be a victim and let that eat your soul, or you can say, You’re going on my list and I’m going to prove you wrong!”

On bullying: “I’m all about standing up to gay/lesbian/transgender bullying, but it’s also about my little brother. He’s 13 and he gets made fun of because he has a stutter. I just have zero tolerance for people making fun of others.”

A paparazzo was killed trying to get a photograph of Justin Bieber’s Ferrari. Justin wasn’t driving or even in the car. A friend of Justin’s was driving the Ferrari with another pal in the passenger seat. The California Highway Patrol pulled the car over on the 405 freeway. The officer then directed Justin’s friend to drive the car off the 405 to Sepulveda Blvd.

The paparazzo followed. He was crossing the street, trying to get a picture of the car, when he was hit by another car in oncoming traffic. He died at UCLA Medical Center. No picture of a celebrity is worth anyone’s LIFE. Maybe this tragedy will encourage paparazzi to be a little more careful? Our condolences go out to the paparazzo’s family.
