This truly was a generous move on Charlie Sheen’s part. The paparazzo who was killed trying to get a picture of Justin Bieber’s car was only 29. He likely didn’t have any life insurance, and his family certainly wasn’t expecting to have to bury him. Charlie stepped in and wrote a check for $12,000 to cover his funeral expenses. Charlie explained to TMZ:

“A tragic incident like this erases the line between the photographer and the subject. It’s an unforgiving moment that begs us all to be human and work as one to prevent this in the future. As parents, we are all not supposed to bury our children. My deepest condolences to the families involved.”

What a generous thing for Charlie to do.

This was one of the best moments of the People’s Choice Awards! Taylor Swift got “Kanye-ed” by Olivia Munn when the singer was named Best Country Artist. Olivia joked she was the inspiration behind Taylor’s hit song, ‘We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together.’ Then, when Taylor tried to take the statuette, Olivia snatched it back, demanding a “thank you” from the singer- LOL. Taylor said,

“This always happens.”

Then she went on to thank her fans for the phenomenal success of her latest album, ‘Red.’ It was certainly one of the highlights of the ceremony for me!

The New York Post reports Elton John and David Furnish have become parents again! Elton and David reportedly have welcomed their second child from the same surrogate they used for their son, Zachary. However, their rep would only tell the Post:

“We never discuss our clients’ personal lives.”

The Post also claims the rep is negotiating with Us Weekly for a cover story announcing the baby’s arrival. The truth will come out eventually. If it is true, congratulations to Elton, John, and big brother Zachary! This is a big baby day among celebrities, isn’t it?

Well, I hope you got to see Britney Spears last fall on ‘X Factor.’ She won’t be back for the third season. Britney reportedly doesn’t plan to return to the show. Instead, she’s working on a new album. A source said:

“Britney loves Simon, she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music.”

Rumor had it that ‘X Factor’ producers weren’t happy with Britney, saying she was “boring.” I can understand producers may have wanted “crazy Britney,” but I’m glad that didn’t happen. This girl’s been through enough!

Penelope Cruz opted for an coat dress over slacks for her ‘Venuto Al Mondo’ photocall. LOVE the color. This is the second time I can recall her wearing a coat dress on the red carpet. That black leather one Penelope wore was one of the chicest red carpet looks I’ve seen in a long time. I have to give Penelope credit: she wears the most fashionable coat dresses I’ve ever seen.
