Robert Pattinson said it’s a relief to have the ‘Twilight‘ franchise behind him. So what does one of the most bankable stars in Hollywood want to do next? Own a pub.

“I would love to own a pub in London at some point…I wouldn’t want to buy a pub that was all trendy and done Gastro style food, I just want a real working men’s pub. I probably wouldn’t even go public that I owned it. I wouldn’t want it to become the sort of place people went to spot celebrities. I just want it to be a real pub where men discuss the issues of the day.

“The UK is the home of pubs, and we need to make sure we protect them. Every time I am back home and see that a local pub has closed down it actually makes me sad. The local can be the focal point of the community, and if we lose them we lose one of the things that is greatest about Britain. Men putting the world to rights over a few pints puts the Great into Great Britain; we have to fight to keep that.”

Well, with all the money Robert’s made starring in the ‘Twilight’ movies, I’m sure he can afford to buy a few pubs!

Newlyweds Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell aren’t wasting any time! Evan and Rachel tied the knot in late October. Now they’re announcing their first child. Evan’s rep told Us Weekly.

“Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell confirmed that they are expecting their first child later this year. The couple is thrilled.”

It will be the first child for both. Congratulations!

Academy Award nominees Bill Murray and Laura Linney star in a historical tale that uniquely explores the all-too-human side of one of history’s iconic leaders. Blending literate wit and drama, Hyde Park on Hudson is directed by Roger Michell from a screenplay by Richard Nelson.

In June 1939, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt (played by Mr. Murray) readies to host the King and Queen of England (Samuel West and Olivia Colman) for a weekend at the Roosevelt home at Hyde Park on Hudson, in upstate New York – marking the first-ever visit of a reigning British monarch to America. As Britain faces imminent war with Germany, the royals are desperately looking to FDR for U.S. support.

But international affairs must be juggled with the complexities of FDR’s domestic establishment, as his wife Eleanor (Olivia Williams), mother Sara (Elizabeth Wilson), and secretary Missy (Elizabeth Marvel) will all play a part in making the royal weekend an unforgettable one.

Seen through the eyes of Daisy (Ms. Linney), Franklin’s neighbor and intimate, the weekend will produce not only a special relationship between two great nations, but, for Daisy – and through her, for us all – a deeper understanding of the mysteries of love and friendship.

You have to give Kim Kardashian credit. She is On The Ball! Kim may only be in her first trimester of pregnancy (which means she wouldn’t know her baby’s gender yet), but she already has the baby’s name picked out. Kim wants to name her baby Liv.

“Kim has liked Liv since she was a teenager, as she was a big fan of Liv Tyler. She fell in love with it all over again when she started hanging out at the club on her visits to South Beach.”

Apparently Kim is convinced she’s pregnant with a baby girl. Hey, the odds are 50/50, right?

Even Speidi has their limits! Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have made no secret of the fact they’re hard up for cash these days. Heidi even headlined an event at strip club Crazy Horse. Yet the ‘Celebrity Big Brother‘ contestants have turned down some big paydays. Spencer said:

“We were offered a couple of million. I considered it. Heidi was like, err no!

Heidi added: “Money isn’t everything.”

So now that they’re living in the ‘Big Brother’ house in the UK, are the married couple having sex? Spencer explained:

“I don’t think they’re paying us enough! We’ve been offered so much to make a porno film, if we’re going to do it on camera we should get millions. We’ve debated and we think it’s kind of lewd for the house.”

I’m sure their housemates appreciate that! Yet now Heidi and Spencer admit their whole “divorce” a few years ago was fake. They say they’ll “never” do that again. Heidi said:

“We’ll never play that game again though. We’re not going to pretend. It’s one game we’re not playing.”

Good for them! I wonder how things are going on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’? It airs in the UK.

Poor Taylor Swift just can’t catch a break after her latest failed romance with ‘One Direction’ member Harry Styles. Lisa Osbourne (Lisa Stelly before marrying Jack Osbourne) speculates Taylor must be “bats*it crazy.” Now a supposed friend of Taylor’s told Radar Online the “real reason” Harry broke up with the singer.

“Taylor is so concerned that the public will think she’s a whore because she dates around, that she doesn’t put out. What she doesn’t get is that the guys keep dumping her because she’s being a prude.”

Another source explained:

“Harry found Taylor a little sexually uninterested. While it was clear she obviously had a thing for Harry, Taylor didn’t want to put out as often as he would’ve liked. Harry is a young boy, with ladies throwing themselves at him and has had a string of relationships with older women. It’s no secret he’s sexually active and is enjoying his fame at the moment. But Taylor just wasn’t up for it as much as he is. They were sexually incompatible.”

Now I know Taylor’s fashion choices have been a little, um, matronly, but come on! This seems like a bit much. Perhaps Harry’s camp is getting in the “first hit” before Taylor’s next album comes out. I’m more inclined to believe this piece of gossip, myself. What do you believe?
