No one was more surprised than Weight Watchers spokeswoman Jessica Simpson when she found out she was expecting baby #2. She explained to Jay Leno:

“Apparently it was a part of God’s plan for my life. I was extremely shocked. I was shocked because I was going through a lot of hormonal changes trying to get back to the old, vibrant Jessica. And you know, it was kind of like a one-night stand. And it happened … all over again!”

Jessica said she’s trying to rein herself in a little bit with this second pregnancy.

“I didn’t really make any healthy, good decisions [during the first pregnancy]. The last time I ate everything in sight. I was really happy to be pregnant and I just didn’t even step on the scale. I was the person who turned around and said, ‘Just don’t tell me, I’m having fun. I guess I just didn’t realize you could gain that much weight that quickly. I had fun doing it but once I had Maxwell I realized that it all wasn’t water weight and I had to really work hard. In four months I lost over 50 pounds.”

Part of what’s helping Jessica avoid over-eating is the nausea she’s experiencing this time around.

“I’ve been really, really sick so I can’t wait to actually be able to crave something like I did in my first pregnancy. I’m due in the summer so I still have a ways to go — hopefully I start feeling better.”

And so what about the big wedding we’re all waiting for?

“We’ve had two different wedding dates, but he keeps knocking me up. I’m doing it very backwards, I know! I’ll just keep my legs crossed this time.”

Love it- LOL! When Jessica and Eric Johnson finally do tie the knot, you know it’s going to be a BIG ceremony. Can’t wait!

I’ve never watched an episode of ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, but even I heard Honey Boo Boo’s proclamation: “Ain’t nothing wrong with being a little gay. Everybody’s a little gay!” Apparently, GLAAD heard too. The child beauty pageant contestant’s show got some love from GLAAD in return. Today the 2013 GLAAD Media Award Nominations  were announced. The rumor is true! Elton John and David Furnish have, indeed, welcomed another son named Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John. They released a statement confirming the happy news.

“Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement.”

Elijah joins big brother Zachary, who’s two. Congratulations!

Jennifer Lopez opened up to People magazine. Of course, the ‘Parker‘ star was asked about her relationship with Casper Smart. Jennifer didn’t beat around the bush: Casper has helped her get over her split from Marc Anthony.

“I just got out of a big, heavy, devastating thing, and he’s helped me heal. He’s been there for me. I ask him, ‘Why don’t you go find a young girlfriend and get out of here? What do you want with me?’ And you think, ‘How long is this gone be?’ You think, ‘Okay, in 10 years I’m going to be like this and you’re going to be like that’ and … men at that age are … I think all different things. The truth is we don’t know what’s going to happen. We’re loving this moment right now. We make each other happy.”

As a matter of fact, Jennifer (formerly part of Bennifer I) says she doesn’t regret any of her past relationships.

“I don’t regret those things – that’s who I am. But at least now I’m at a point where I have to recognize that these choices and things that happen are partly because of me and my decisions and I have to be more careful. So I am being more careful.”

It sounds like Jennifer’s taking responsibility for her life. Good for her!
