Jennifer Lawrence may have added another statuette to her shelf on Sunday when she won the SAG Award for Best Actress, but people have been talking about something else. It looked like her Dior couture gown ripped as Jennifer was making her way to the stage to accept the award. Oops! Turns out, it wasn’t an “Oops!” moment after all. A Dior spokesperson explained:

“The dress is made with different levels of tulle and satin and that is what the viewers saw when Jennifer lifted her dress slightly. It was not ripped and there was no malfunction…it was the design of the gown.”

I know you’ll all breathe easier now that you know that! It makes sense; I’m sure it was much easier to move in the gown with this construction.
