Congratulations go out to actress Christina Ricci, who today finally confirmed that she and boyfriend James Heerdegen are engaged!

The actress confirmed the news to Us Weekly today as she was on hand at The Grove to promote a handbag she designed for the line ‘MAKE UP FOR EVER’.  While she’s been wearing an engagement ring for a few months, she had yet to confirm that she and Heerdegen were officially engaged.

Today, when congratulation by an Us Weekly reporter, Ricci replied;

“Yeah. We got engaged a couple months back.”

And they say you can’t keep a secret in Hollywood!

Beyonce might be one of the biggest superstars in the world, but that doesn’t mean that she’s immune to heartache.  In the singer’s upcoming documentary, ‘Life is but a Dream’, set to debut on HBO this month, Bey opens up about the sadness she felt after suffering a miscarriage.

In the documentary she said;

“About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time.  And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life.  I picked out names. I envisioned what my child would look like . . . I was feeling very maternal.”

 

“I flew back to New York to get my check up — and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat.”

 

“I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I’ve ever written in my life and it was actually the first song I wrote for my album. And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through.”

Thankfully Beyonce was able to get pregnant again and her daughter, Blue Ivy, just celebrated her 1st birthday.  I can’t wait to see Beyonce’s documentary, it sounds like we’ll get a good glimpse at her life.  Will you be checking it out?

Oh they grow up so fast, don’t they?  How cute is Jessica Simpson’s little girl Maxwell Drew?!  The reality star celebrated her daughter’s 9 month birthday today by tweeting out the above picture of Maxwell standing in her kitchen sink with the caption;

My lil dollface is 9 months today!

Hard to believe that Maxwell will be a big sister in just a few short months too!  And not only will she be a big sister, but she’s also going to have a new bff too!  Jessica’s best friend, Cacee Cobb, announced today on twitter that she’s expecting too.  Cobb, who married former ‘Scrubs’ star Donald Faison tweeting her good new says, with Jess replying ‘BF+BF= future BFF’S!!’

How fun will that be for Jess and Cacee to have babies together!

Miley Cyrus added a new tattoo to her growing collection thanks to celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D.  Miley, who has over a dozen tattoos already, had the famous tattoo artist ink a pair of arrows to the back of her right arm.  Miley tweeted out the above pic with the caption;

Kat tweeted out the close up picture below of Miley’s tat too saying;

I know that Miley is a fan of tattoos but I can’t help but think that maybe one day she might regret getting so many. Or maybe I’m just too old to appreciate it!

Actress Christina Ricci was at The Grove in LA today, taping an appearance for the entertainment news show ‘Extra.’ Christina stopped by to promote a handbag she designed for the line ‘MAKE UP FOR EVER’.

‘I’m taking a break right now and looking for something great,’ Christina recently told USA Today. ‘It’s hard to be too specific because you want to be as open as possible. You never know what the next great thing is going to be.

I think it is really cool that in addition to being an actress, she is finding time to showcase her love of design.

Actor Paul Rudd and director Judd Apatow are currently in Ireland on a promotional tour for their movie ‘This is 40‘. If you have not seen the movie, “This is 40′ is the spin-off sequel to the 2007 film Knocked Up. Here is the part where I confess I still need to get out there are see this movie. Loved Knocked Up.

Here they are today after arriving at The Merrion Hotel in Dublin. Did you know that back in 2011, Paul was honored as an “Hononary Irishman” at the Oscar Wilde Awards according to Variety? While he isn’t Irish, Paul confesses he had a fondness for Irish music and found himself drawn to the work of Irish authors as a child.

I’m sure he is excited to be visiting Ireland again.
