This is the thing about being an actor that I can’t imagine: the roles that require you to kiss someone who isn’t your significant other. Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough do kiss in their new movie, ‘Safe Haven.’ Josh admitted he got permission from Ryan Seacrest, Julianne’s boyfriend, before he kissed her.

“Yes, I did feel the need to seek approval from Ryan before we started shooting the movie – mostly out of respect for Ryan and the relationship. But it was rather awkward!”

It didn’t occur to Julianne to do the same with Fergie until Josh spoke to Ryan.

“Once [Josh] did it, I was like, ‘Oh shoot! Should I call Fergie? Whoops!’ But no – they’re awesome. Fergie’s amazing, so is Ryan, so … I mean, they haven’t seen the movie yet, so we’ll see!”

Then Julianne really got put on the spot with the question: who kisses better, Josh or Ryan?

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa … so you’re saying if I were to be honest and say Josh, that would be … no, I’m just kidding.”

Really, how is Julianne supposed to answer that question? Can it be any other response besides Ryan? It better not be if she wants her relationship to last- LOL.
