Lady Gaga first had to cancel a few Born This Way tour dates when she was left unable to walk after a performance. She admitted in a Facebook post that she had been in pain for some time but was trying to push on. After going to the doctor, Lady Gaga got some not-so-good news. Her rep released the following statement.

“After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal.”

Ouch. That just sounds painful. I’m sure Lady Gaga feels awful. When she announced cancelling just a few dates, she wrote on her Facebook page:

… I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devastated & sad. (sic)

This is beyond Lady Gaga’s control, right? Hopefully she doesn’t beat herself up too badly. Here’s to a full and swift recovery!
