  Author Of ‘Brangelina’ Insists Break Up Rumors Are True

  The ping pong match continues!

  Remember Ian Halperin – author of the book ‘Brangelina’? Well, he sat down with ‘Pop Eater’ and insists the writer who broke the news about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt splitting is thorough and would never fake a story. DESPITE the fact that he works for ‘News of the World’, Ian says:

  He’s one of the most thorough journalists I’ve ever met. I’ve never caught him getting egg on his face regarding a story, and the fact that he did this story, I don’t doubt the authenticity of this story.

  So, we should believe the guy who wrote an unauthorized biography of Brad and Angie when he says the rag reporter is honest. Ok, I’m with you… Let’s continue.

  Ian says this break up is going to resemble that of Madonna and Guy Ritchie.

  I spoke to someone who was inside Brad and Angie’s home and they gave me a first-hand account of what’s been going on. They said there’s definitely been trouble brewing inside the house, and the spin they’re going to give it is very similar to Brad’s friend Guy Ritchie. After it was leaked that there was a split with Madonna back in 2008, Madonna’s spokesperson Liz Rosenberg vehemently denied it and said there were no divorce plans. Move forward to October 15, 2008, and she issued a statement that Madonna and Guy Ritchie decided to divorce. This is the type of way it’s going to play out. You’re going to see denials, you’re going to possibly see them appear in public for a photo op to make it seem that everything looks normal and fine. Look, Pitt’s good friends with Guy Ritchie and he’s gonna follow the script of Guy and Madonna.

  Close Friends Say Jolie-Pitt Split Is Not True

  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not breaking up according to a “close friend” to the couple. And when I say close friend – I mean someone who was looking for a quick payout from one of the rags. A source told the New York Daily News newspaper:

  “I was told it’s not true. They are very secretive. But I was told it’s not true.”

  Although another source called the split rumors “B.S”, the couple are yet to officially comment on the status of their relationship. And why should they right? Imagine if each celebrity commented every time one of the gossip magazines claimed they were divorcing or pregnant or gained weight? Forget it! Those PR reps would never sleep.

  Although the reports have been refuted, it has since been claimed Brad’s brother Doug Pitt begged the ‘Fight Club’ star to end the relationship because their family was being torn apart. A source told The Sun newspaper:

  “Brad’s family are being more vocal with their doubts over the relationship. The only thing they still have in common is their kids. That’s keeping them together at the moment.”

  Fact Or Fiction: Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Preparing To Split

  We’ve all heard this rumor before, but this is the first time divorce attorneys have been mentioned, so here goes… Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly have met with divorce attorneys and signed an agreement to divide their fortunes and determine legal custody of their children because the couple plans to split.

  A source told the News of the World: “The document was signed in early January. Both Brad and Angelina had signed it. The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split.

  “It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children. But Angelina will actually be the one who lives with them full-time.”

  There’s no date for when the contract would come into effect.

  “But the paperwork is already organized for a break- up – and for it to be as unmessy for them as possible. It is clear it’s a case of when they break up rather than if.”

  Now, this article also claims Brad and Angelina haven’t been photographed together for “quite some time,” but some of the pictures here are from this month. However this is a Hollywood couple, so I’m not going to say it’s impossible.

  I’ll believe it when I see a statement from their reps.

  Angelina Jolie Releases Statement About Needs Of Haitian Orphans

  Angelina Jolie released a statement today, calling for support of SOS Children’s Villages, an organization that focuses on family-based, long-term care of children who can no longer grow up with their biological families. Angelina has a been a long time supporter of the group.

  She says that before the earthquake, SOS Villages had been raising more than 300 orphaned or abandoned children and cared for more than 4,000 poverty-stricken kids and families in Haiti.

  “That was before the earthquake,” Jolie stresses. “Now the needs for orphaned children are almost incalculable.”

  “As a long time supporter of SOS, I have visited many of these unique villages personally. I can vouch for their commitment and care for the children,” Jolie says. “As the Haiti situation unfolds, and we all focus in on ways to help these desperate children — I ask you to please learn more about and consider supporting SOS Children’s Villages.”

  Angelina Jolie Cheating On Brad Pitt: Not TRUE Says Howard Samuelsohn

  Of COURSE it’s NOT TRUE!!!! None of these stories are true that come out about Angelina Jolie! But at least Howard Samuelsohn is giving an official quote about the supposed affair he had with the star. Howard told Radar Online,

  “I’m 5’6, I’m 51 years old, and I’ve never been to The Waldorf [Astoria Hotel in New York, where the alleged affair occurred]. I would like for someone to get the word out. [The story] is total bulls***.

  Is there any way Angie could have cheated with anyone on the set of ‘Salt’?

  “No way, no way! The thing is this is all crap,” he said. “I’m sure it was not a dialect coach. If it was somebody I’m sure it was not a dialect coach,” he said adamantly. “What we do is very discreet, if you did stuff like that, you wouldn’t get hired.”

  Angelina Jolie Had Affair With Dialect Coach?

  An ex-employee of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York is claiming that Angelina Jolie has been cheating on Brad Pitt. Anna Kowalski, a housekeeper who was often assigned to the hotel’s top guests, claims to have worked often with the Jolie-Pitt clan over the past few years.

  She claims, in an exclusive interview with In Touch, that Angelina was having an affair this summer with her dialect coach, while she filmed “Salt” and Brad had the kids at their mansion on Long Island.

  “She would see the tutor while a bodyguard stood entrance at the suite,”

  She claims that one night, she was cleaning up a big mess that left little to the imagination of what was going on:

  “The room was a disaster,” she explains. “There was water all over the bathroom and empty vodka bottles everywhere. Every towel had been used. And over five dozen cattleya orchids were scattered around the room, and there were the tops of the flowers in the tub, with candles.” Once Anna got into the bedroom, she shares, she got an eyeful. “The bed was covered with black rubber sheets, and there were sex toys on it,”

  Anna tells In Touch that she was fired in December:

  she claims she did not get off Brad and Angelina’s floor fast enough when security shut it down for a doctor’s visit

  Jennifer Aniston Chose Her Golden Globes Look With Angelina In Mind

  Supposedly. According to Life & Style, Jennifer Aniston chose her stunning black dress once she learned her ex, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie wouldn’t be attending the Golden Globes.

  “Jennifer decided to go for black and sexy for the awards only when she discovered that Angelina wasn’t attending,” an insider tells Life & Style. “An earlier choice had been a white asymmetrical Stella McCartney, since she didn’t want to go head-to-head with Angelina and her trademark black.”

  Oh, come on. Doesn’t everyone wear black? (And last time I checked, Angelina’s Cannes dress was not the first thigh-high slit ever seen, either

  According to this insider, Jennifer went for a curvier look to contrast with Angelina’s thin appearance.

  “Jennifer was happy to emphasize her curves in direct contrast to Angie’s skeletal look,” says the insider. “She’s been putting extra yoga hours in but has also upped her carb intake to create an altogether curvier look.”

  Well, I thought she looked great at the Golden Globes. Hopefully it had nothing to do with Angelina (or Brad)!

  Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Donate $1 Million To Haiti Quake Relief Efforts

  Talk about putting your money where your mouth is! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt didn’t stop at releasing a statement about the tragedy in Haiti; they also agreed to donate $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, the group of emergency responders who are providing care to Haiti residents.

  “It is incredibly horrible to see a catastrophe of this size hit a people who have been suffering from extreme poverty, violence and unrest for so many decades,” says Jolie.

  Adds Pitt: “We understand the first response is critical to serve the immediate needs of countless people who are now displaced from their homes, are suffering trauma, and most require urgent care.”

  Good for them! The three Doctors Without Hospitals facilities reportedly were severely damaged in the earth quake, so the doctors have been forced to work outdoors.

  Something tells me we haven’t even BEGUN to hear about the depths of the devastation over there.

  Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Reach Out To Haiti Earthquake Victims

  The biggest celebrity humanitarian couple around is moving fast on the latest natural disaster, reaching out to the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt released a statement this morning:

  “We are devastated by the news from Haiti. We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”

  Wyclef Jean, who is from Haiti, has already begun appealing for help on behalf of the people of Haiti, where “thousands” are feared dead.

  “I cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse. The over 2 million people in Port-au-Prince tonight face catastrophe alone. We must act now.”

  Hopefully the people of Haiti will receive aid quickly. I’m glad celebrities are doing what they can to bring attention to the situation. My thoughts are with them.

  No Awkward Moments For Brad, Angelina & Jennifer Aniston

  The media outlets are probably disappointed in the news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not attending the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday. Now there won’t be any chances for awkward moments between the couple and Jennifer Aniston, who is presenting.

  Angelina’s stylist broke the news to E!:

  “They’re not going because he’s not nominated individually,” she told me at the soiree. “Inglourious Basterds is, but not him.”

  You’d think that since the movie was nominated, he’d want to be there. But Brad’s manager confirmed the news this morning.

  Maybe the couple is just going to veg out at home and watch the awards on tv? Angelina was just doing re-shoots for ‘Salt’ and I’m sure Brad’s got some new projects coming up fast – maybe they wanted to take it easy? I’m disappointed that we won’t see them on the red carpet!

  Angelina Jolie Dropped By St. John’s

  St. Johns decided to part ways with Angelina Jolie, who was contracted to model for their ad campaigns. And listen to the reason.

  “[Jolie] overshadowed the brand,” said chief executive officer Glenn McMahon. “We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.

  “We needed to show a modern point of view of St. John,” McMahon added. “We have evolved.”

  Well, you can’t blame Angelina for that! St. Johns hired model Karen Elson for their spring campaign. Maybe there’s hope for models after all (they’ve been complaining for a few years now that actresses were taking their jobs).

  To me, it might get my attention a little more if an actress I like (or know of) is the spokeswoman for something, but it doesn’t make me actually buy anything. How about you?

  Angelina Jolie’s Mother Leaves Substantial Sum To Kids

  Angelina Jolie’s late mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, has left three of her grandkids a nice little nest egg. She has reportedly left Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh each with a trust fund worth $100,000 a piece. The grandchildren will have access to their accounts when they turn 25.

  The reason for leaving out the three youngest children (Pax, Vivienne and Knox) wasn’t out of favoritism (obviously) – her will was made in 2006, before Pax was adopted and the twins born. Angelina’s mother passed away from ovarian cancer in early 2007, at the much-too-young age of 56.

  Not to worry, I’m sure the youngsters will find SOME way to survive financially. I hear their parents make a comfortable living, as well. lol

  Just a spoon full sugar makes the medicine go down! Sorry…I just loved that movie as a kid! Lol.

  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took all their children to see a showing of “Mary Poppins” on Broadway in New York City over the weekend. I love how this family seems to have a uniform for when they go out. Anything black or gray would do, as well as a scarf, cool shades, and of course the optional hat. They definitely look like they belong together!

  Here are a few more shots from the set of Angelina Jolie’s upcoming movie ‘Salt‘. I can only imagine how hard it is to go back and re-shoot scenes for a film – trying to make sure everything is EXACTLY as it was the first time around – set, wardrobe, hair, makeup, etc.. That has got to be a huge headache.

  Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Spread Holiday Cheer

  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wanted to do their part to spread some holiday cheer this season. The couple has donated $100,000 to American SOS Children’s Villages. The organization is focused on the long-term care of abandoned and orphaned children.

  Angelina shared this about their donation:

  “We have seen first-hand the remarkable job SOS does to raise orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together. No one ‘ages out’ of an SOS Village: vocational training, advanced education, living assistance and moral support are there forever.”

  And Brad added this:

  “In this holiday season, many of us take for granted that we are surrounded by loving family members. The poor outcomes for foster children indicate that we must do a much better job of supporting them.”

  It’s so nice to hear positive stories of giving during this holiday season. Kudos to them for lending a hand to such a worthy cause and shining a light on it, maybe others will follow suit.

  Fact Or Fiction: Angelina Jolie Says Fidelity Isn’t Necessary For A Healthy Relationship

  Angelina Jolie doesn’t believe fidelity is essential in a relationship.

  The Hollywood actress – who raises six children with her long-term partner Brad Pitt – believes open romances can work just as well as monogamous relationships, if both partners agree to it. She told Das Neue magazine:

  “I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship. It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards.

  “Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other.”

  I TOTALLY DON’T BELIEVE SHE SAID THIS. WAITING ON RETRACTION BY A REP. I mean seriously – did Angie really say this?

  The 34-year-old screen beauty also revealed the pair have a fiery relationship.

  “The sparks fly at home if the nice Brad fails to see that he’s wrong and reacts in a defiant way. Then I can get so angry that I tear his shirt.”

  I call BS. What do you think? Doesn’t even SOUND like her. I think this magazine is just trying to get a little press.

  Angelina Jolie Found The “Right Person” With Brad Pitt

  Now this surprises me: Angelina Jolie did an interview with OK! magazine, apparently to talk about her personal life (I don’t think she has a project coming out, does she?). Angelina says she doesn’t “like being without [Brad].” Here’s what else she had to say:

  What’s the best thing about Brad?

  He is a wonderful person and a really great actor. He’s extremely down-to-earth, goofy and funny. People know very little about him, and when it comes to where his morals are, how he is with people, what he cares about and what he’s learned about, he is very aware.

  Is it easy juggling motherhood with being an A-list actor?

  I am just a mom and that’s how I am going to be the rest of my life. That sounds so funny – I mean [the phrase] “A-list actor.”

  What’s up next for her?

  I help where I can. I raise my kids with a lot of love and make sure they grow into the individu-als they were born to be [sic].

  Hmmm… could this be damage control in response to the tell-all book ‘Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’ that hit bookstores this week?

  At this point, the fact that they’re still together is proof enough for me that something obviously is going right with this couple. Is it proof enough for you or do you think there’s trouble brewing, given that Angelina felt the need to give an interview for no apparent reason?
