Johnny Depp And Angelina Jolie To Star Together In A Film?

Now this should be an interesting pair on-screen! I told you a while ago that Angelina Jolie had signed on to replace Charlize Theron in ‘The Tourist,’ with ‘Terminator Salvation’ star Sam Worthington as her co-star.

Now Sam has pulled out, and Johnny Depp is in talks to replace him as the male lead.

The revamp of the 2005 French spy thriller “Anthony Zimmer” involves a female Interpol agent who ropes an everyman American tourist visiting France into becoming bait in the hunt for a wanted criminal who’s also her former lover.

Oh, I hope this happens! I can’t even imagine these two together on-screen, but I know I’d go to the theaters to see it. What do you think of Angelina and Johnny starring in a film together?

Angelina Jolie And Rosie O’Donnell: The Dinner That Never Was

Rosie O’Donnell was on the Howard Stern show this morning chit chatting about her past – including the time when Angelina Jolie passed her phone number. Not many people could say that happened right!

“She gave me her phone number,” O’Donnell recalls.
“We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that . . .There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through.” she said.

I would have loved to be a fly on that restaurant wall. These two girls seem like complete opposites! Perhaps Angie was just a fan of her stand up routines.

Rosie also shared with Howard:

“I was a little afraid of her. She’s scary in a sexual kind of way. I have dreams about her a lot still.”

LOL! Join the crowd Rosie. I’m sure many men and women could say the same thing. Wonder why Rosie is talking about this experience now. It’s funny how things come out years later.

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Tell-All Coming To Bookstores

December 1 is the day the world will get a chance to read ‘Brangelina Exposed,’ an expose written by investigative journalist Ian Halperin (who also wrote ‘Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson’). Here’s a description of the book:

“…Brangelina Exposed promises to explain how the famous couple “have successfully manipulated the public into believing a glamorous fairytale that bears little resemblance to the reality of the pair’s life together,” according to a press release.

The book reportedly will begin with an inside look at Brad Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston, including, of course, the “real reason” for the couple’s divorce.

Then it will move on to Angelina Jolie, including such information as:

“[N]ew details of her volatile relationship with and estrangement from her father Jon Voight, her struggles with suicidal impulses, her heroin use, her sexual exploits and her remarkable rise to become an Oscar-winning actress.”

Halperin will also introduce “the key figure behind the scenes who orchestrated her makeover into a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.”

The book will also look at Angelina and Brad as a couple and their family.

Angelina Jolie Is A Semi-Homemade Mom

Do you watch ‘Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee’ on the Food Network? It is a lifesaver if you want to bake but don’t have time to make everything from scratch! Apparently, Angelina Jolie is a fan of the show and reportedly used one of Sandra’s ideas when baking for son Maddox’s birthday.

“I was really surprised when her friend let me know she made my No Bake birthday cake,” says Lee, whose show hit Food Network show, Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, provides viewers with no-fuss recipes prepared in minutes. “She’s a Semi-Homemade mommy just like the rest of us!”

The cake, which Lee says is “a beautiful display that anyone can do in five minutes,” starts with a store-bought white sheet cake, topped with a plain white round cake and then surrounded by cupcakes and pre-decorated cookies. “What’s great is that you get to personalize that beautiful display,” says Lee.

“She’s a very busy, overextended mother,” Lee, 43, tells PEOPLE. “I’m very proud not just that she made my cake but that someone of her stature isn’t delegating these [tasks], like her children’s birthday, to other people. I’m glad she loves the show and that the kids apparently also watch it too.”

Angelina Jolie In Talks To Become A Gucci

Angelina Jolie is in discussions to star in ‘Gucci’ as Patrizia Reggiano, the socialite who was sentenced to 29 years in prison for plotting to murder her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci.

[T]he drama… recaptures the glamorous days of the Gucci family dynasty in the 1970s and ’80s, when the family was selling $500 million in product annually. Squabbles hobbled the clan until Maurizio, the grandson of founder Guccio Gucci, came out on top of a power struggle to run the family business. Just when he was about to reestablish the brand name by debuting a line designed by newcomer — and now film director — Tom Ford, Maurizio was gunned down in front of his Milan apartment in 1995.

According to Variety, the studio is hiring a writer to work on the script, and the role of Maurizio has not been cast, although Ridley Scott reportedly has approached Leonardo DiCaprio about the role.

To me, this sounds like an interesting movie and a great role for Angelina (and Leo, for that matter). Do you agree or not?

Angelina Jolie Wants At Least Two More Children

Angelina Jolie sat down with Britian’s Stylist magazine, according to Life & Style, and confessed that she and Brad Pitt would like at least two more children: one adopted and one biological.

“I can see further additions to the family — both adopted and our own,” Angelina, 34, tells the British magazine Stylist in its October issue.
Brad and Angie plan to add two more children, if not more, to their family, confirms an insider close to the couple. “They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby — for now,” the insider says. “But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children.”

“Addicted to children”: does that seem likely to you?

Angelina does seem to realize that she’s already stretched pretty thin.

“We have to make sure we can devote enough time to each of them,” she tells Stylist, referring to Maddox, 8, Pax, 5, Zahara, 4, Shiloh, 3, and 15-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne. “There’s always one of ours demanding that I help color in something very important with crayons.”

While visiting Syria as a United Nations Ambassador, a mother was embarrassed about how her five children were behaving. Angelina reportedly told the mother that her children “were even naughtier!” Angelina has also admitted that life with six children was “absolute chaos at times.” I can see that

Well, you look at families like the Duggars with 18 children and another on the way and think maybe it’s not so bad. Or do you still think Angelina and Brad should think long and hard before expanding their family?

Angelina Jolie May Replace Charlize Theron In ‘The Tourist’

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Charlize Theron has dropped out of her starring role in ‘The Tourist,’ and Angelina Jolie is in talks to replace her.

A remake of the French thriller “Anthony Zimmer” from 2005, “Tourist” centers on an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who’s a suspected global criminal. It follows in the long tradition of innocents caught up in shady activities abroad that dates back to Hitchcock (“The Man Who Knew Too Much”), Polanski (“Frantic”) and beyond, and a theme that also has contemporary echoes with “Taken” this past year.

Sam Worthington (‘Terminator: Salvation’) will play the American tourist. This role sounds perfect for Angelina, doesn’t it?

Angelina Jolie Is Back In Contact With Her Father

Angelina Jolie has been estranged from her father, actor Jon Voight, for quite some time now (reportedly over his cheating on her mother, Marcheline Bertrand). According to UK paper The Sun, she has finally started to have some contact with him after she concluded “families have to be earned.”

“We’re in contact now and writing letters. My parents gave me a strong social conscience as well as any acting genes I may have. Both my parents were very focused on helping other people and supported charities all their lives.”

However, one thing Angelina is determined not to do is raise her children the way she was raised.

“I don’t want them raised as children who have ‘movie star’ parents. I grew up around that myself and I want to make sure ours are removed from it.”

Good luck with that! Actually, all kidding aside, they do seem to have as normal a lifestyle as they can with their careers and all the traveling.

Angelina And Brad Travel To Syria

Today Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took some time to spend the day with displaced Iraqi families living in Damascus, Syria. As UNHCR‘s Goodwill Ambassador, Angelina wants to bring attention to the plight of the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi refugees who have been displaced to Syria since the war began in 2003. The two also met with Syrian president Bashar al-Assad to discuss health care and education.

“It is clear that the Syrian people, no matter the challenges or difficulties they may face, have always shown generous hospitality to people in need,” said Jolie, who last visited the area in 2007. “I hope that the rest of the world recognizes that we all have to share this burden and continue to take care of Iraqi refugees.”

I love that they are involved with so many good causes.

Fact Or Fiction: Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Building Their Own Air Strip

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are doing everything they can to avoid the paparazzi. The NY Post is reporting that the pair are building an airstrip next to their property in France so they can come and go without tipping off the press.

The rumor is the couple is purchasing surrounding property around the Chateau Miraval estate so that they may have their very own runway.

“One thing he loves about the estate is the privacy it affords. Nobody can get near it. So with Angelina completing her pilot’s license, their own airstrip would give them total freedom to come and go.”

Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Spend $80,000 On Gerbil Maze

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have spent over $80,000 while creating a home for their children’s gerbils.

The actors – who raises six kids, Maddox, eight, Pax, five, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and 13-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne – put together a massive living space, which boasts tunnels, platforms, seesaws and mazes.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Brad pores over architectural journals like other people pore over newspapers. He had so much fun putting the run together with his kids Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax.

“It’s incredibly complex and cost a lot but Brad’s more than happy with any activity that can combine his two passions – his kids and architecture.”

The rodents – who will live at the family’s mansion in the South of France – were chosen by Maddox and Pax after their parents took them to a local pet store last week.

An onlooker said: “The boys were really keen to get the gerbils and it was Angelina who reached into the cage to pet them before a store worker got them out.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt want their daughter Shiloh to be an actress.
The Hollywood couple are hoping their three-year-old tot will become a movie star and are even considering sending her to drama school when she is old enough so she can hone her acting skills.
A source said:

“They’re thinking about enrolling her into a performing arts school. Shiloh is the most famous child in Hollywood and was the first baby to get a waxwork at Madame Tussauds. They think she could emulate their success.”

Shiloh – who appeared in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ alongside her father Brad – has apparently caught the acting bug and told her friends she wants to be just like her parents.
She reportedly said:

“I want to do what mommy and daddy do.”

LOL! Usually children want to be princesses and fireman. How rare to hear a child that young say they want to be a movie star.

Although the couple – who raise another five children together – wantsShiloh to follow in their footsteps they don’t want her to start her career too young.
The source added to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper:

“Shiloh’s a mix of the two best-looking actors in the world – she was born to be a star. Brad and Angelina were a little worried about her interest in acting, however, they have vowed to let their kids pursue their dreams.”

Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Talk About Their Secret Places To Have Sex

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have sex in several secret places.
The Hollywood couple, who raise six children together, keep the spark alive in their relationship by sneaking off to make love in their favourite ‘special’ spots.

Referring to Brad’s recent claims the pair have sex in a grotto behind a waterfall in his pool, Angelina said:

"Yeah, well, we’ve got a few special places. You keep it going."

Brad laughingly added:

"It’s not true. We have far more comfortable places to go. There is an old Hollywood property just a few minutes away. It has a grotto there. The rumour is Jimi Hendrix spent some time there. That’s the story. I run with it."

Angelina also admitted she was thrilled when Brad recently described her as his “soulmate”.
The 34-year-old screen beauty said:

"That is very cool. Well, he’s mine. It is what it is."

The couple appeared together on the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Brad’s new film ‘Inglourious Basterds’, and Brad took the opportunity to dismiss speculation their relationship has hit a rocky patch.

The 45-year-old actor – whose ex-wife is Jennifer Aniston – said:

"We’ve both been around long enough and have been in enough relationships to know what we want out of it, and to know when we’re wasting time."

Will Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Work Together Again

The answer to that question depends on who you talk to. Last night, when Access Hollywood asked Brad Pitt if he’d like to make a movie with partner Angelina Jolie that his children could see (‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ is probably considered a little too violent for them at this point), this is what he had to say:

"I don’t know… we’ll see what comes up," he said. "We’re open… we’re open for anything."

Meanwhile, when E! Online’s Ted Casablanca asked Angelina the same question at the ‘Inglourious Basterds’ premiere last night, here was her answer:

"I would love to, but we have a lot of kids to raise!"

It makes sense that they would work on different films so one parent can be home with the children while the other works.

Angelina Jolie Dropped From Vanity Fair’s Best Dressed List

This doesn’t sound right for an actress whose fashion sense is admired enough that her stylist had designer dresses stolen the night before she was scheduled to try them on for a fitting! Yet, Vanity Fair has done it: they dropped Angelina Jolie off their annual Best Dressed List.

Brad Pitt made the list for the third consecutive year, although for the past two years he was listed in the "couples category" with Angelina.

Some people will make their debut on the list: Kelly Ripa, Penelope Cruz, Anne Hathaway, and Alicia Keys are on it for the first time.

The list will be released in the September issue of Vanity Fair, which hits newsstands August 11.

Megan Fox Has Had Enough

Megan Fox is sick and tired the ongoing comparisons between herself and Angelina Jolie as a compliment, even if many people consider Angelina one of the most beautiful women in the world.

"I think it’s cause she has tattoos really, I think a lack of creativity on the media’s part," Megan explains to Pop Tarts.

"I am a brunette with tattoos, I curse and I have made mention of sex
before. I joked about it which people find outrageous so they want to
constantly compare that to her," she says. "You know Shia [LaBeouf] is the new Tom Hanks, Rihanna is the new Beyonce. Everybody is the new somebody although none of us are any of those people so you just walk around with it you live with it."

Jon Voight, Angelina’s estranged father, seconds this notion.

"Megan is herself and Angelina is herself. No one is comparable; everyone in the world is unique," Jon said at the recent Transformers premiere in L.A. "That’s the great thing about it, but of course they’re two very beautiful women."

I can understand Megan’s feelings. She is an up-and-coming movie star in her own right, and who doesn’t want to be their own person?

Yet I have to admit, from their looks to their personas, they do seem a lot alike to me. Sorry Megan!
