Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb (Mississippi) and raised in rural Louisiana (Kentwood) to Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. As a child, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions and the like. But, most of all, Britney loved to sing. At age 8, Britney tried out for “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” (1989), but was turned down due to her young age. This directed her to an off-Broadway show, “Ruthless”, for a 2-year run as the title character. At age 11, she again tried for “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” (1989) and, this time, made it as a mouseketeer alongside many stars of today (Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of *NSYNC and Ryan Gosling). Her big break, however, came when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s. With the release of her debut album, “…Baby One More Time” in early 1999, Britney became an international success, selling 13 million copies of “Baby” and 9 million (as of July 2001) of her sophomore album, “Oops!…I Did It Again”, released in May of 2000.read more>>

Britney Spears’ Bodyguard Is Suing Her I don’t think there’s been a WEEK in Britney Spears‘ comeback life where she wasn’t involved in some sort of legal battle with another individual. If it’s not family members, ex husbands, managers or past lovers – it’s bodyguards! This time
Kerry Vine is claiming he was hurt while working at her former LA home in March of 2008.The documents state:
“Advanced Security Concepts negligently operated their
business thereby causing injuries to Vine who worked for Spears at the time.
Spears breached that duty of care to the plaintiff by failing to ensure that
he could safely perform duties that Advanced Security Concepts ordered him
to perform."Kerry is suing for personal injury, battery and negligence which he claims
caused him to lose wages and incur medical and hospital costs. He also
alleges loss of personal property and earning capacity.
A hearing will take place on September 2.We obviously don’t know whether or not Kerry has a legitimate claim – but I can’t help but visualize everyone walking around Britney with dollar signs in their eyes.

The ‘Womanizer‘ singer, who has a reported $100 million fortune, earned $12

Besides having to deal with a three year restraining order, Sam Lutfi might have to come up with $123,142. That’s exactly how much Britney Spears‘ team is suing her ex-manager for. The pop star’s lawyers claim that’s how much they’ve spent to keep Sam away!
Who else is getting sued? Paparazzo ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and former lawyer Jon Eardley…$72, 292 and $129,922 respectively. Adnan’s case is to reclaim money spent on HIS restraining order and Jon’s is for when he challenged Jamie Spears’ conservatory.

Britney Spears Taking Her Family To Europe Amazing how well this has all worked out. Britney Spears’ career is back on track with her Circus tour and Kevin Federline is supporting her and helping her to see as much of her boys as possible.
K-Fed and the boys will be headed to Europe with the tour!
Kaplan (Kevin’s lawyer) admits that, though Kevin has custody of the two boys, he
realizes that Britney "should not have to sacrifice visits with her
boys while pursuing her career. Kevin has even been able to make sure
that Britney can maintain the boys’ regular schedule, even though she’s
on tour."And in slightly kookier, but still Britney related news, after freaking out at her Vancouver show because the air was so bad, sources are reporting that she now wants to invest in a 30k oxygen chamber.
“Since her Vancouver show, where she ran off stage as it was too smoky, she’s become paranoid about breathing in too much bad air.
She’s keen on an oxygen chamber that will reverse any smoke inhalation damage.”
Fact or fiction? I’m calling on fiction with this one. That’s a little extreme, even for Britney…now for Madonna, maybe, I’d believe it.

Britney Spears Requests Strippers Pole For Hotel Stay Total random, but hotel staff in London at the place where Britney Spears will be staying while her Circus tour is in town says that she has requested a stripper pole to be installed in her suite!
‘Britney loves pole dancing, it is her new favourite work out.
She
gets the toning that she needs without having to hit the gym, and she
wants to be able to do it in the privacy of her own hotel room.Keeping fit on the tour is very important as her show is full of rigorous dance routines, so Britney likes to do her pole dancing work out every morning when she gets up.’
Other odd requests include requiring that a chef from Nando’s be on hand to whip up some of their spicy chicken for her whenever she wants it. She’s also planning on hitting up Topshop. The store will be opened privately for her and her dancers.

Britney Spears Invites Kevin Federline’s Girlfriend Over For Dinner Apparently Kevin Federline and his new girlfriend, Victoria Prince, have been getting more serious. Britney Spears is having a rough time with this, so she invited the couple over for dinner so they could set some limits.
"Britney is still not happy that Victoria has been spending so much time with her sons.
"She wanted to make sure that everyone understood that she was the boys’ mum and it was going to stay that way."
It sounds like things went well though, because after Kevin and Victoria left Britney was in a better mood.
"It was Britney’s idea to have the meal. She gave the housekeeper
the night off, so it wasn’t a fancy meal – just frozen pizzas and some
leftovers."She thought it would be helpful to meet Victoria and get to know her a little.
"The conversation was a bit rocky at times, and there were a few awkward silences. But afterwards Britney seemed more relaxed."
*Sigh. I wish we could go back in time and see Britney and Justin Timberlake get married. That’s one fantasy I’ll never up on, LOL!

Woman Arrested For Breaking Into Britney Spears’ Home A woman has been arrested for breaking into Britney Spears’ property!
Miranda Tozier-Robbins, 26, was found "peering through the windows of the
‘Womanizer’ singer’s home in Calabasas, California, dressed in camouflage
fatigues and carrying a video camera and backpack yesterday morning". She really got all into it didn’t she? Gear and all.When security guards discovered Miranda they asked her to
leave, but she “balked at their requests” and ended up having to be
physically removed from the property.
She was then taken to the police station and booked on charges of trespassing and
disorderly conduct.Her bail was set at $5,000, but she was eventually released on a citation. Miranda will appear in court on June 16.
Britney was not at the property at the time of the incident – thank goodness! The singer was performing at the nearby Los Angeles Staples Centre as part of her ‘Circus’ tour last
night.All you need is one crazy fan to make everything unsafe. Thank goodness her bodyguards caught her when they did.

musical ‘Spring Awakening’ and Britney wants to do the same."The show has been seen by Sarah Jessica Parker and Demi
Moore, and word about it has spread to the Britney camp. She’d love to have
the theatre shut down for her entourage."Friends say the 27-year-old singer wants to see the show because she is
considering taking the production to the US."Britney got rave reviews when she had a cameo in ‘How I

Britney Spears: Not Engaged, Not Abducted By Aliens LOL!!! You have to love a celebrity rep with a sense of humor!
This story didn’t get picked too much by the blogs, I guess because it was too outrageous for anyone to believe, but a millionnaire claimed that he proposed to Britney Spears at a Subway, she said yes and that the two of them are going to get married after her Circus tour ends, on a farm, in Germany. John Sundahl said that he met Britney in rehab in 2007 and that they’ve been dating ever since.
John even confirmed the story to the NY Daily News, saying,
"Britney doesn’t want to do anything until the tour is over. She wants press for her tour and not for an engagement."
Thank goodness we have rep denial on this one:
"Britney is
not engaged. She did not get proposed to at Subway – she is currently
on tour – she is not getting married on a farm in Germany. Oh, and she
has not been abducted by aliens."No WONDER Britney had a mental breakdown.This John character sounds like he truly believes he’s dating her. Can you imagine dealing with this sort of insanity on a regular basis? It’s enough to push anyone over the edge!

In honor of his book’s publication, Dr. Drew provided Extra with his assessment and diagnosis of several celebrities: Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Nicole Richie.

Britney Spears Unhappy About Drug Use In Concert Arena Britney Spears stormed off stage after just three songs in Vancouver because the arena was too smoky last night.
The ‘Toxic’ singer walked off and STAYED OFF for over 40 minutes. Concertgoers were told the concert wouldn’t continue if people
smoked cigarettes and marijuana because it was “unsafe”
for Britney and her performers."We were concerned for the lighting guys and everyone else
working on the show."Britney finally did end up returning to complete the show, but ended her night on stage with this message:

Vancouver. You were wonderful. Drive safe. Don’t smoke weed!"A representative for Britney said:

attended our Vancouver show for the brief pause in Britney’s set. Crew

Now, Kevin Federline is the one coming back into the picture. Just the other day INO reported that Britney was dating a male dancer to make K-Fed jealous. Well, if you believe Star Magazine, her ploy worked!

Britney Spears Has On Stage Scare In Pittsburgh Oh my goodness! I would be petrified too!
While Britney Spears was performing Slave during her Circus tour stop in Pittsburgh, there was a minor stage glitch that made the singer very nervous.
The lift that was supposed to raise Britney up and down was unsteady and the singer was visibly nervous. She stopped moving and lipped as little as she had to until she was safe back on the ground. I would have done the same thing except instead of staying very still, I would have been crying and grasping onto the side bars for my dear life.

Britney Spears Dating Male Dancer To Make Kevin Federline Jealous? Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have a big past together. And he’s the father of her children. So I can’t say I’d be totally surprised if this story were true…
When the NY Daily News reported that Britney was having a fling with a dancer I posted it and most of you didn’t think it was true. Now OK Magazine is saying the same thing…with a twist. Their news is that Britney is dating a dancer to try and make Kevin jealous.
A source says,
“She’s giving him a taste of his own medicine.”
“They have such a complicated history, but Britney has never stopped caring about him,” a Federline family member tells OK!.
“Now that she has put most of her problems behind her and is making an
impressive concert comeback, she’s feeling like she, Kevin and the boys
could have a fresh start.”And Britney and Kevin have to see each other every day for the sake of the kids.
“They are seeing each other every day,” a tour source tells OK!.
“When Kevin’s had the boys for the day, they greet their mom with hugs
and kisses, and their dad fills Britney in on how they spent their
time. It’s just like any other family when one of the parents comes home from work.”Are you rooting for a Britney and Kevin reunion, or would you rather see her with someone else?

Britney Spears Has A Fling With A Dancer This girl is just desperately looking for love!!!
Britney Spears tried to have a fling with a dancer but it was short-lived after her dad found out. Jamie Spears had left the tour to go to LA and take care of some business matters and while he was gone, Britney took advantage of being out from under his watchful eye.
Britney was a bad girl,” says our insider. “Literally as soon as her
dad left, she started getting cozy with a dancer named Gio. It wasn’t
serious. They had a few romantic interludes, and she bought him a few
things – a pair of shoes and some clothes – even though she’s on an
allowance.”However, Jamie is back with the Circus tour now and the fling is done.
“Britney was definitely getting jiggy there for a hot minute, but
they’ve slowed down since Jamie got back in the picture,” says the
insider. “It’s basically over now.”On one hand, I feel so bad for Britney that she has so very little freedom. On the other hand, I really do think her dad is just trying to protect her. I mean look what happened with Adnan and Sam Lufti…she needs someone looking out for her! But Britney must HATE not being able to date whoever she wants whenever she wants.

Britney Spears’ Dad Trying To Shut Down Fan Site Britney Spears’ father, Jamie, is apparently trying to shut down one of her biggest fan sites, Breathe Heavy because of breach of copyright for posting unauthorized pictures and videos.
The site owner made a post saying,
"I have been battling the conservatorship Britney is currently placed under for months now."
"When I did not conform to the requests and demands Britney’s management and father, Jamie Spears, recently put upon BreatheHeavy to
stay quiet, they in turn became angry and malicious, launching, what I
feel is an unjust attack, against me and my website." Jamie Spears’
lawyers demanded Miller’s Los Angeles-based site be shut down by 3pm
local time – or face legal repercussions."This conservatorship Britney is placed under, which controls every
aspect of her life, is now clenching the future of her biggest fansite."I’m wondering why Jamie has singled out this particular site when their must be a million others out there just like it…
Jamie told the site owner, "You are an uber fan who’s gone a little too far."
