Britney Jean Spears was born in McComb (Mississippi) and raised in rural Louisiana (Kentwood) to Jamie Spears and Lynne Spears. As a child, Britney attended dance classes, and she was great at gymnastics, winning many competitions and the like. But, most of all, Britney loved to sing. At age 8, Britney tried out for “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” (1989), but was turned down due to her young age. This directed her to an off-Broadway show, “Ruthless”, for a 2-year run as the title character. At age 11, she again tried for “The All New Mickey Mouse Club” (1989) and, this time, made it as a mouseketeer alongside many stars of today (Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of *NSYNC and Ryan Gosling). Her big break, however, came when she was signed as a Jive Recording Artist in the late 90s. With the release of her debut album, “…Baby One More Time” in early 1999, Britney became an international success, selling 13 million copies of “Baby” and 9 million (as of July 2001) of her sophomore album, “Oops!…I Did It Again”, released in May of 2000.read more>>

But, Kevin Federline is holding out. Britney’s father has reportedly offered him $4.5 million dollars to remarry her.
“Jamie’s been after Kevin to get back with Britney for months. He
knows he may have to pay to get it done-and the money would come out of
Britney’s assets, which he now controls….He keeps raising the

Britney Spears To Appear In Pussycat Dolls New Video Cameo time!! The Pussycat Dolls were scheduled to start shooting their music video yesterday for "When I Grow Up" and guess who is going to make a quick appearance? Britney Spears has confirmed some camera time according to a friend of the group.
A source close to the five piece girl group confirmed the news exclusively to Access.
“She is doing a cameo in their new video shoot today,” the source said.

was spotted in Burbank earlier today, where the Pussycat Dolls are
shooting a music video for “When I Grow Up,” the first single from

Britney Spears Knows Some Tough People Remember when Adnan Ghalib was stabbed out of nowhere and the world thought it was just a crazy fans way of telling him to back away from Britney Spears? New reports have come in claiming that the stabbing was a way to prevent a Britney sex tape from leaking. The day Adnan was stabbed, the footage (allegedly shot in Mexico) was supposed to leak onto the Internet. Supposedly the stabbing was enough to yank those plans right off the table.
Adnan talks about the fight for the first time, but due to the investigation that is ongoing, was unable to give much detail.
"Yes I was injured by an attacker. This is still being investigated. I can’t say much about the cowardly attack other than: a) you better

will be surprised by those behind it.

Britney Spears Wants To Make It Back Into Top 10 Earning Females List Britney Spears was knocked out of the top 10 earning celebrity females list this year (She was 10th in ’07) but she’s determined to get back in. In 2008 she came in at 11th place with her fortune of $102 million dollars.
Of course, Oprah was #1 with $1.5 billion and J.K. Rowling came in at #2 with $1.1 billion.
Some of the other women on the list include Madonna with $325 million, Celine Dion with $250 million and singer Mariah Carey,
who has earned $226 million.Who would have thought that writing some books about a boy wizard would turn into this multi-billion dollar franchise?!? Crazy how things like that happen isn’t it!?!

Producers Want Britney Spears To Play Sandy On Broadway’s Grease It’s just a request at this moment. No one has confirmed that Britney Spears would even consider the role, but producers of Grease are putting it out there. They want Britney to play Miss Sandra D in their Broadway play. The team is recasting in July and thinks Brit Brit would be the perfect fit.
They’re recasting the roles in July and they thought that Britney looked like a Sandy. She would be terrific."

Britney Spears Dating Her Agent? Supposedly Britney Spears has a new man in her life…and he is the one responsible for reuniting her with her family and getting things back on track. He’s an agent for William Morris talent agency which looks after Britney and his name is Jason Trawick (pictures of him here) The two supposedly took things to the next level during Brit’s Costa Rica vacation.
"They [Britney and Jason] had a great time in Costa Rica and they also got a chance to enjoy some quality romantic time together. Britney totally trusts him and she has very deep feelings for him. It’s now got to the point where Britney wants to be with him full time."
And Jason is being given a lot of credit for her come back.
"Jason was deeply saddened when she lost it and he made it his personal mission to see she comes back. It
was Jason who was one of the key figures who helped Britney to reunite
with her parents and, in turn, get herself back on track. He was also behind her reuniting with her former manager Larry Rudolph, and getting her involved with the TV series How I Met Your Mother."I just don’t know if a relationship would be good for Britney right now. I think she needs to focus on herself and her kids…so let’s just keep our fingers crossed this guy is a good influence. If everything said about him is true, then maybe we can hope for the best. Although I was kind of holding out for a K-Fed-Britney reunion.

Britney Spears is currently in secret negotiations working on a MAJOR comeback show set for Vegas. OOOH! Naturally, the hotel of choice is the Palm considering she patrons it whenever possible. Reports are claiming that the sit down with the hotel’s owner has already happened and the ball is officially rolling.So what’s the deal? Britney is planning a "multi-million dollar stage production she hopes will jump-start her career. "
She wants to make a splashy comeback in Las Vegas. She wants the show to be full of high energy and flashy costume changes." Spears is reportedly in negotiations to perform a string of shows for an estimated $10 million.
10 million?! Too bad we all can’t put on a comeback tour. Mama needs a new pair of shoes.

Britney Spears’ Father Is Now A Full Time Employee Britney Spears’ father has officially quit his job as a caterer to become a full time employee for his daughter. He is now the conservator of the star’s legal and financial affairs and gets paid $2,500 a week to do so. Jamie also received $10,000 for the first month on the job – signing bonus?
I can say all I want, but Britney’s life has gotten better since her father stepped in. She’s reclaimed more time with her sons and seems to have her head back on straight. So that man is worth every penny.

At Least One Person Is Happy With All The Britney Spears Media Coverage The group of paparazzi that document Britney Spears’ every move have officially met their number one fan. And that man is Kevin Federline’s lawyer in THE never ending custody battle, Mark Vincent Kaplan. He is so thankful for all the coverage the pop star gets because it literally saves his client millions of dollars in private investigation fees.
"If I had to hire an investigator or investigators to provide me with the intelligence about what’s going on, where they are, how are they doing, it would be north of half a million to a million dollars… as opposed to buying People magazine for $3.95 on Thursday morning or going on (website) TMZ.
"Everyone who had a big toe in this case at every level followed what was going on by looking at the web sites."
"No other case has had the media addiction and frenzy that surrounded this case and these people 24-seven. There’s never been anything like this, and there probably won’t be for a while."
I don’t know why he is making such a big deal about that. In the end, you know Britney would have had to cover the fees anyway!

Britney Spears To Appear In Court Tomorrow TMZ is reporting that Britney Spears will appear in court tomorrow to personally ask the judge for more time with her kids. Her lawyer is planning to argue that the amount of time she’s allowed with her children should reflect the progress that she’s been making recently. They say this could be one of the most important hearings yet.
And in other Britney news, she was recently in Louisiana for Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby shower. The guests were warned ahead of time that they weren’t allowed to bring up any of Britney’s “antics” from the past year, but when she arrived, she made a personal apology for causing so much family drama.

Mario Lopez Blames Britney Spears For The Breakup Rumors I was wrong when I reported that Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff had broken up. Dimples and his dancing partner are still going strong. So strong that he’s even taken her home to meet his mom, which isn’t something Mario takes lightly. Mario thinks that the rumors are ridiculous and he blames none other than Miss Britney Spears.

Britney Has Lost $61 Million Holy moses, how is this even possible?!? Intouch is reporting that Britney Spears’ bad behavior has cost her $61 million dollars since she shaved her head in Feb. of ’07. She’s had to shell out tons for court fees, rehab and psychiatric bills…not to mention the crazy shopping sprees she’s been on…
A friend said,
“It’s staggering how much money has been used up.”
She also lost about $50 million by not going on tour for Blackout. But things are looking up now and her dad being in charge has curbed Britney’s spending significantly.
“It’s been quite a challenge getting things under control. She’s spending about a fifth of what she used to.”
I feel guilty for spending $100 bucks, I can’t imagine blowing that much money! What’s the most damage you’ve ever done…I’m going to guess not $61 million

Lynn Spears Speaks Out About Her Daughters’ Troubles Lynn Spears really has had a rough year with Britney Spears’ mental troubles and Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy. She spoke out to Life & Style Magazine about all that has gone down recently.
On Jamie Lynn getting pregnant so young:
“I’m a bit disappointed that my youngest daughter got pregnant at such an early age. All I can do is turn to God for answers and just leave it in his hands.”
On what kind of a mother Jamie Lynn will be:
“Jamie Lynn will be a wonderful mother,” she says. “She really has a way with children – ” she’s a natural nurturer. I just wish she had waited a bit.”
On Britney’s relationship with her boys:
“I pray for Britney every day to be a better mother. She’s gone through a lot of trauma, but she seems to be coming out of it – ” and it’s showing in her relationship with the boys. They’re really bonding.”
On this year:
“I think 2008 will be a better year for all of us.”

Britney Spears To Go On Tour Soon? Remember the Britney Spears Onyx Tour, which was basically really small concerts at hotel venues? Rumor has it that Britney is set to do something similar to that soon. Millennium Dance Studios is holding auditions for backup dancers to go on stage with a major female recording artist for Jive Records. So that’s got to be Britney, right? That’s what people are saying…Anyways, Larry Rudolph also talked about having faith in his client to make a major comeback if that’s what she sets her mind to do.
Well, think about it. I mean, ultimately, if she – if it’s what she wants, and if she decides that she wants to get back into the recording studio, get back on a stage and put that all on again. If that’s the life that she wants and she gets back on a stage, for instance, think about what that would be.To go see a Britney Spears show with her, you know, back in her prime and doing what she does best, at this point, I can’t imagine a hotter ticket in terms of a touring ticket. I mean, there’s no show that I’d rather see. You know, I think a lot of fans agree with that.

With the help of her dad things are really starting to turn around for Brit-brit and I certainly hope she can get back partial custody.
