What cuties! I can hardly stand it, these two are so adorable. Little Shiloh and Zahara paid mommy Angelina Jolie a visit in the hospital today. Shiloh held on tight to her dolls as the photographers snapped away.

Yesterday I reported that Angelina Jolie had checked in at a French hospital where she would remain until giving birth to her twins. Today there are a few more details coming up, but still no confirmation as to whether the babies have been born or not. Fortunately we should get more news this afternoon because her obstetrician has called a press conference.

In other news, here are a few tidbits about Angelina's stay at the hospital.

Jolie has the best room in the hospital, on the fifth floor, with an "unobstructed view" over the Bay of Angels. It said she arrived by helicopter, landing Sunday afternoon on the hospital's roof....The actress reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch.

Wow, arriving in helicopter, looking out over a beautiful bay, bodyguard protection...sounds just like my birthing experience...NOT. :)

*Update: Nothing exciting happened in the press conference. Doc just said that things are normal and Angelina is in the hospital as a precaution.

*Update #2: The twins are still weeks away. Makes sense since we did originally here her due date was in August.

It's been confirmed! Angelina Jolie has checked into the French hospital, Lenval, and is preparing to give birth to her twins. According to a rep for the hospital, she's "doing fine" and won't give birth right away. She's currently under surveillance until she goes into labor and she won't leave the hospital until the babies are born.

Since early 2001, renowned American actress Angelina Jolie has traveled the world as a Goodwill Ambassador to UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency. On World Refugee Day, she pays tribute to the forcibly uprooted and to the people who protect them.

Haha! When asked about who her favorite co-star for sex scenes is, Angelina Jolie gave the safe answer...Brad Pitt!

"Well, you know Brad [Pitt] was...I'll always prefer rolling around on the floor with him than any other man. You know, in general."

I mean, really, how many women wouldn't mind "rolling around on the floor with him." :) I wouldn't kick him out of bed, let's just say that...

She also talked about how she and Brad make it work with balancing jobs and family.

"I love being a mom and I do love traveling and the work I get to do with children in the field and with refugees. Brad and I take turns working," she says. "So instead of it being "I get to work next," it's "You have to work next, because it's your turn. I'm staying home with the kids."

I've read and reread this quote a dozen times and can't figure out WHY Billy Bob Thornton would say such a thing. How very hurtful. Caring for 6 children and building a life around family is hardly a phase...

"She is just going through a high school phase. You know dating the quarterback of the football team with Brad Pitt over there. She'll be waking up from that dream in no time. Who knows if I'll be there when she's ready to come to her senses though."

I'm not surprised. Everyone else in Hollywood seems to have one, why not Angelina? Angelina Jolie is in talks to launch her own fragerance but wants to make sure that she is heavily involved with the conception.  

"Angelina wants a very strong input. She wouldn’t want a fragrance that she didn’t feel encapsulates her."

If that was the case, then I would be curious to see what she comes up with. So many times people just lend their names to a product without even knowing what it's about. 

In other news, anyone dying to see Wanted? I can't wait for it to come out.

Angelina Jolie and fashion house St. John have officially parted ways. Their three years together were memorable, but life goes on.

It was a great run… Three years is a long time to maintain any campaign, and we felt it was time to do something new and different." The Spring 2008 campaign will be the last to feature pregnant Jolie.

Four unknowns will replace her in the company’s Fall 2008 ads.

Angelina Jolie wasn't expecting twins. It came as a total shock according to the latest interview she gave to Entertainment Weekly. I erroneously assumed they went into this pregnancy trying for multiples. 

"We weren't expecting twins. So it did shock us, and we jumped to six [children] quickly. But we like a challenge."

Brad Pitt's parents also hop in every now and then to help out which is nice to hear. I am sure Grandpa Voight is going to be calling asking for his turn soon enough!

 "[Brad's] mom and dad are on standby to come out and help." 

With the new babies on the way, Brad and Angie are thinking about how to get the other siblings invested. 

"They're old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We're trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing ... Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they're at."

And being pregnant and unable to bend and lift isn't stopping her from getting close with her children. Whenever Angelina wants to hold one of them, she just hollers down to Brad and he comes to the rescue.

 "We've worked out a system where Brad just lifts [the kids] to me every time they want to come up. I just don't bend down. I'll scream, 'Honey!' and he'll come running and lift them up."

And pregnancy has other benefits as well.

"It's great for the sex life. It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you're just so round and full."

Seriously, every time I see a picture of that little girl I'm stunned by what a beautiful child she is! Anyways, on to the news...Shiloh is getting ready for the arrival of her twin sisters!

It's always a little nerve wracking to see how siblings will react to the arrival of a new brother or sister, but it sounds like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are doing their best to make sure Shiloh is mentally prepared.

The toe-headed tot is finally coming around to accepting that she's going to be a big sister and friends say it's a big relief in the Jolie-Pitt household.

"It took her a while, but now she's as excited as the rest of the family," a Jolie-Pitt insider tells OK!. "She puts her hands on Angie's stomach to feel the twins kick and she jumps back and starts grinning!"
