Good thing they are BABIES Ben! Don't rush it!! :)

Ben Affleck is dreading the day his daughters start dating. The 'State of Play' actor tries not to think about Violet and Seraphina grown up and spending time with boys. 

"I'm already planning on it - practicing the rocking-chair-and-rifle routine."

I'm sure all men feel this way right? Another celeb who has no problem confessing his nerves is Jerry O'Connell.

"I don't want them to date. They're only allowed to date men who run countries. They're only allowed to date men who are heir to the throne or are currently running a nation."

Well, that limits the field doesn't it?!

And Benji Madden says he will help out his brother Joel with baby Harlow. Why do these quotes always involve a shotgun?

"I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her. I'll leave the shotgun right by the door."

LOL! 

On accident, of course.  I'm sure just about every parent has been in this situation, even if she doesn't want to admit it ;)  Ben Affleck said he had taken his 3-year-old daughter, Violet, out to lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  Unfortunately, he spilled their meal.

[A]s the mess – including Diet Coke and water – came rushing at him, he caught himself shouting 'sh--.'

Like a stuntman righting a car, he stopped himself from swearing and instead yelled the German term 'scheisse.'

'Why I came up with that word, i don't know I have not even been to Germany, but guess that's a German swear word in my subconscious,' he says."

Violet, of course, wanted to know what "scheisse" meant.

'It's just a bad word, and we don't say that,' Affleck explained."

You don't honestly think that ended Violet's interest in the word, do you?  Nope.  Instead Violet began to shout the word, louder and louder, in the restaurant.  Ben energetically re-enacted the scenario, which you can watch here.

Ben Affleck talked to E! Daily 10 (7:30 pm ET/PT) about his brother Casey's documentary on Joaquin Phoenix's transition from acting to rapping.  Ben definitely sounds supportive of Casey's directorial debut.

My brother is directing this documentary which is about Joaquin's um, you know shift from acting to music.  I have seen some of the stuff. And I think this movie is going to be spectacular.  My brother's going to prove to be quite a director and uh, it's hard to know you know... well I'll leave it at that."

If you're like me, and wondering how Casey became involved in all this, remember that Casey is married to Joaquin's sister.  So do you consider Ben's comment more "verification" that Joaquin truly is quitting acting to pursue a rap career?

This advice doesn't come from just any guys.  It comes from four really cute (and three eligible) actors: Justin Long, Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, and Kevin Connelly.  Each was asked to give one piece of dating advice and here is what they said.

Justin Long:

Be as open and honest as possible, just communicate."

Bradley Cooper (in the voice of some anonymous "doctor"):

Just be yourself!"

Ben Affleck:

You know, I was never very good at [dating], so I don't think anybody should follow my advice, so I'll pass."

Spoil sport!  He's the married one; he must have done something right ;)

Kevin Connelly:

Move on from the text message to the actual phone call."
