While at the Venice Film Festival, Brad Pitt saved a fan from falling into a lake. The actor agreed to sign autographs for a group of young fans on a boat on Wednesday but one teenager slipped and fell into the water. Pitt quickly grabbed the fan and ensured he was safely back on the boat before signing a book. What a keeper!

He is at the Italian Festival to promote new movie Burn After Reading.

Maybe there is something to those late night phone call rumors from Jennifer Aniston to Brad Pitt.  New reports have come out saying that she did call him after her breakup with John Mayer...and for the first time that Angelina Jolie wasn't upset about it. 

Jolie had no problem with the late night phone call and she reportedly told Brad that she hoped that he was able to help out Jennifer as she worked through the John Mayer break up.

Question for the readers...if you are dating someone right now, is that person still in contact with his/her ex and if so, does it bother you?

Seriously, can we get Brad Pitt and George Clooney on their own television show? That way, we can just film them talking and I can laugh the night away. When these two friends get together, it's always witty, quick and a ball of laughs.

Brad Pitt won Best Actor at the opening ceremony of the Venice Film Festival on Wednesday for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford -- a year after the film was released and a year after he won the accolade, the Associated Press reports.

At the press conference that shortly followed, reporters began to quiz Brad and his pal George about their personal life. One asked George if he was ready to settle down?

"I am so surprised to hear that question," he joked. "That is honestly the first time I've been asked that question. I am getting married and having children today. Brad?"

Then Brad chimed in and offered up his family to hold George over. In fact, he promised to have two more children by the end of next year. 

"And until then I'll be sharing mine with him. I'll have two more by next year."

George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton were looking fabulous in Italy as they walked the red carpet. Brad and George always seem to have a good time with one another don't they?

Brad Pitt sans Angelina Jolie was spotted out and about in Venice. Pax and Maddox accompanied him. What do you think of Maddox's colorful mohawk? Zahara Jolie-Pitt and her dad, Brad Pitt, enjoyed a day at the Aime and Marguerite Maeght Foundation, a contemporary and modern art museum that has been designed to harmonize with its natural surroundings. Sounds right up Brad's alley.

Also along for the ride were Brad's parents Jane and William Pitt.

Even though scientists reported that the chances of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt conceiving twins naturally was less than 1%, the power couple says they had no help from in-vitro.

"If they had been concieved through IVF, we would have been happy to discuss it. But we have been fortunate never to have had fertility problems."

I have a feeling that if Angelina and Brad had used in-vitro that they would have taken it up as their next big cause, so I'm leaning towards believing them on this one. What do you think?
