Bridget Moynahan was originally afraid to be a single mother. She had these expectations about how her life would play out and marriage was always in the equation. It took some getting used to, but now Bridget is so thrilled about her life with John, that she doesn't care about not having you know who by her side.

"I’m not sure anyone - and I could be wrong in this - grows up thinking, I want to be a single mom. When you’re suddenly pregnant and no one is standing by your side, even if you’re in your 30s, it’s a hard conversation. I’m a traditional girl, and I believe in marriage, and I just always thought that’s the way I’d be doing this.

"For a moment, it was hard for me to accept that this was the way I was going to have a family. All of a sudden, you have this newborn you have no training for. It’s frightening."

"It’s golden and it’s tough and it was f**ked up. But now I have a child, and it’s the best thing in the world."

Bridget Moynahan and her adorable son John Edward were photographed while out for their daily walk in the Pacific Palisades. Bridget looks amazing in these pics and I admire her for remaining so cool and dignified during this whole thing. These photos almost make me want to break out my jogging stroller and give it a whirl. Welll... Almost.

Bridget Moynahan looked gorgeous as she was photographed pushing her 3 and half month old son, John Edward in the Pacific Palisades. You can definitely see the new mommy glow and I have to say from looking at the side profiles that Bridget seems to have gotten back into shape quickly. I don't know how these celebrity mothers do it! Actually, I do know and am still waiting for an easier solution. :)

Looks like Tom Brady got to spend some time with John, his 3-month-old son by ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan over the weekend in LA. He even told Boston radio station WEEI that he changed a few diapers during his visit. Nice to know that he is trying to be a part of the child's life. Also during the same weekend he made some time for girlfriend Gisele Bunchen in NYC, staying at Gramercy Park Hotel and having dinner that Saturday night. He is a coast to coast traveler! Guess he caught the red eye.

Bridget Moynahan takes her 5 week old son, John, out to the Bel Air Bay Club in Santa Monica on Thursday. Unlike their OK! Magazine cover, they look pretty happy here and John is adorable!

Bridget Moynahan debuts her 5 week old son, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, on the cover of OK! Magazine. Bridget declined to be interviewed, so all we have are the pictures, which I have to say, aren't the happiest looking pictures I've seen! Usually these baby covers show a beaming mother, but this one seems to have an element of sadness to it. Could this be a ploy by the editors of OK! to sell more magazines??
