Katy Perry Gets 17 Stitches But The Show Must Go On Katy Perry performed at the MuchMusic Awards on Sunday night, but things didn’t go so well afterward. The singer suffered an injury that required 17 stitches!
Katy tweeted:
17 stitches later… Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That’s what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada
!OUCH! She didn’t explain what happened, but I’m guessing it was a leg or foot injury because she tweeted today:
Thinking about getting a candy cane walker made for this performance coming up… I will be expecting YOU to dance for me, okay?! Oy vey…
I can only imagine how creative Katy would be in decorating a candy cane walker. LOL! Hopefully she has a quick recovery. That must have been a large gash.

John Mayer Thinks Taylor Swift Is A Fearless Creator Last night at the Songwriters Hall of Fame gala, John Mayer presented Taylor Swift with the Hal David Starlight award, which he himself won back in 2006. He shared his experience working with Taylor on their duet:
“I’d always ask everyone who has ever worked with her ‘who is actually writing those songs?’” said John, “I got the chance to one night ask her. We sat down, started playing guitars, and … she writes those songs. I’ve never seen a more fearless creator.”
After giving Taylor the award, she shared:
“I started writing when I was 14,” she says. “I sort of had two lives down in Nashville. I would go to school and then write at night. I always wanted to be one of those people who wrote hooks that got stuck in your head. For me, writing was an escape from reality -where I have to say the exact right thing at the exact right time. I’m much more likely to say ‘I miss you’ or ‘I love you’ in a song rather than in person. The only downside is the delay in saying what you want to say.”
I think it’s great that she really writes her own material. So often we hear about artists who “buy” their way onto the credits to make it look like they were part of the writing team.
John has been SO quiet since he deleted his Twitter account. Did any of you really think he’d stick to his guns with this “silence” for this long?

Daniel Radcliffe Cried At The End Of ‘Harry Potter’ Although Daniel Radcliffe reportedly was in an upbeat mood at the Tony Awards last night, he admitted to crying when he wrapped filming the final ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II’ last week.
“Everyone was really devastated. It was really, really sad. We were crying quite a lot. It’s a weird, weird feeling.”
I can imagine: ‘Harry Potter’ has been a huge part of Daniel’s (and the other cast members) adolescence!
I can’t believe they’re done filming. On one hand, it’s weird to think of the films ending, but since the final book came out a couple of years ago, I’ve kinda said “good-bye” once.
Are you looking forward to ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ hitting the big screen or are you over it?
In addition to Daniel at the Tony Awards last night, some of the thumbnails are also of Daniel with ‘Harry Potter’ co-stars Emma Watson and Bonnie Wright (Ginny) at the National Movie Awards in London from last month.
