Salma Hayek Auctions Off Her Cannes Dress For Charity

Salma Hayek attended the red carpet ceremony held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France as part of the closing ceremonies of the 63rd Annual Cannes Film Festival. I am just loving her entire look! The short hair certainly suits her, doesn’t it?

In order to support the Haitian Relief Organization, Salma auctioned off her Cannes Gucci dress (click here to see it). The actress was the first person to wear the gown and yesterday it fetched over $21,000 after a bidding war.

The gown was auctioned off together with a box containing a sketch of the original dress made for Ms. Hayek signed by Gucci’s creative director Frida Giannini.

What a smart way to make money for charity. It’s not like Salma is going to wear the gown again right?

Here’s singer and L.A.M.B. fashion designer Gwen Stefani out with her family. I’m not even going to comment on the billowy top that only continues to fuel the baby bump speculation. My feeling on that is: eventually, we WILL know

I’m looking at the hair. Specifically, the new hairstyle. It looks like she had it blown out and cut to give it a sharper look. Personally, I think it looks great on Gwen.

Rihanna Continues To Dazzle Ireland

The paparazzi are ALL OVER Rihanna in Ireland, aren’t they? Here she is leaving her hotel, looking, as always, well put together.

What do you think of the short green jumper and thigh-high boots? She obviously has the legs to wear those things, lucky girl! I think this look is great on her.

And I think the gold medallion is a nice touch, even though I normally don’t like medallions a lot. Are you a fan?

Reese Witherspoon Goes Undercover

I barely recognized ‘Water for Elephants’ star Reese Witherspoon in that hat. It looks like she’s doing undercover work as a spy- lol. What do you think of the hat: are you a fan or not?

I like the hat well enough, but I’m really a fan of those gold-rimmed sunglasses and gold hoop earrings together. Just a touch of gold but not over the top.

‘Water for Elephants’ (co-starring ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson) just started shooting; I’m sure once it gets into high gear Reese won’t have a lot of time to go out. She’s probably enjoying the time she has now (it looks like boyfriend Jim Toth is staying in the background in the second set of thumbnails below
