Christina Aguilera wore all black and her signature bright red lipstick as she  hosted the 2009 collection launch for Stephen Webster at the Venetian casino's TAO night club in Las Vegas last night.

Love those jewels!! Wonder if she gets to keep them. :)

A long time ago Christina Aguilera mentioned that she was interested in acting, but was just waiting for the right part to come along. Well, now it has!

And it's only fitting that her first time on the big screen is in a musical! It's called 'Burlesque' and was written specifically with her in mind.

Aguilera will play an ambitious smalltown girl with a big voice who finds love, family and success in a Los Angeles neo-burlesque club that appears to be right out of Bob Fosse's "Cabaret."

That should be a fun change of pace for Christina! How do you think she'll do? The storyline sounds kind of like Mariah Carey's 'Glitter'...girl with a big voice just trying to get by. Do you think Christina's Burlesque twist will be better received?

Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman were treated to dinner by Christina's manager Irving Azoff last night. The trio chose Mozza Restaurant for their sit down, a Mario Batali eatery in Los Angeles.

That man sure knows how to make a pizza. Have you been to one of his restaurants? Yum!

Aw! I love seeing behind the scenes shots of anything - but when there's a baby involved... it's even BETTER.

Here is Christina Aguilera and her son Max posing for People Magazine's 100 Beautiful People issue. The singer admits that her little man is already a ham and really knows how to work the camera. Well, that is until nap time kicks in.

The red carpet at Andaz Hotel was home to man stars last night in West Hollywood. Peter Facinelli, Christina Aguilera, Rosario Dawson, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Jamie Kennedy were just a few of the party invites for LG's Rumorous Night with Ambassador of Style, Heidi Klum.

Sharon Stone, Samantha Ronson, Dita Von Teese, Sarah Silverman, Jennifer Coolidge, Paris Hilton, Eliza Dushku, and reality star Gretchen Rossi were among the ton of celebrities who came out to support the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. Last night was their  'An Evening with Women' event held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California.

The group of women sat down for speeches, great food, a performance from Christina Aguilera and DJing by Samantha Ronson. Sounds like fun - and what a great cause!

I have these visions in my head of Max and Harlow growing up and dating...awww. :) But, I'm getting WAY ahead of myself...those babies were born like yesterday!

Anyways, Nicole Richie recently gave a little quote about Christina Aguilera, and how as new moms, these two are becoming good friends.

"Christina and I haven't known each other long but we met through mutual friends. Because we had our babies at the same time - they were born one day apart - we've got to know each other.

"She's a great wife, great mom and great singer. She does it all. And I'm sure Max gets better lullabies than Harlow!"

And of course, when talking friendship Nicole also had to mention her Simple Life partner in crime, Paris Hilton.

"We went through a phase where we weren't speaking, but I think you can safely say that for anyone who has been friends for 25 years.

"I don't really get into fights with people, and if I ever had a falling out it has ultimately been resolved. It's part of growing up."

I LOVE both these ladies. They are two of the most fashionable new moms out there. If pictures were to come out of them on a playdate my head would probably explode from the stylishness overload.

PS. Anybody else looking forward to seeing what Nicole wears for this time around during her pregnancy? Her maternity wardrobe for Harlow was all about the leggings. Maybe we'll be treated to a new style obsession this time.

First Duffy wants to sound like Christina Aguilera - and now Christina Aguilera wants to sound more synthesized.

Rumor has it that Christina has signed on UK Rockers Ladytron to help shape the new mom's vocal style for her upcoming album.  Keyboardist Daniel Hunt says,

"We first heard that we were one of Christina’s favorite bands last summer. We were chuffed. So we went over to L.A. to meet her in December where she identified the type of Ladytron songs that she liked.

"We were impressed because she had a real deep knowledge of our music - album tracks, not just the singles. She’s an absolutely amazing singer but one of the things she talked about was working with a softer vocal sound, so I think the stuff we do will feature simpler melodies."

What about a collaboration? You never know!

"We haven’t discussed performing together but I’d love for us to do something - maybe be her backing band for a show or two."

This just might turn out to be amazing. Can't wait to hear the first single.

There's that baby! We haven't seen Max in a few weeks!!

Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman took their little man to Fred Segal in West Hollywood earlier today. Looks like someone was in need of some new clothing. I love how all three of them are wearing a different style hat. If you have a baby, do you make him / her wear fashionable hats?

Christina Aguilera was signed onto to sing a song for The Spirit. What do you think about Falling In Love Again (Can't Help It).

It's a whole different sound for Christina isn't it? She sounds very sultry and the song itself sounds very Bond intro to me. I can picture the shadows of the ladies dancing and guns firing in slow motion etc...
