People Magazine caught up with Kevin Federline at Ryan Sheckler's X Games Celebrity Skins Classic and asked him how life has been going.
"Been having a good summer, I can't complain."
I wouldn't be complaining either. :) The reporter then pressed Kevin on how he balances career and parenting. The ex-rapper admitted,
"I've worked here and there a little bit. Definitely staying at home with the family."
Naturally, this was all a way to get him comfortable enough talking and then shoot out the Britney question which got a big ol' no comment. Nice try though.
Who else attended skateboarder Ryan Sheckler's classic? Carey Hart, Brody Jenner, Verne Troyer, Chris Judd, Kendra Wilkinson and Josh Kelly. Click on the thumbnails to enlarge.

After yesterdays talks with a mediator, Kevin Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan told E! News,
"The mediation didn't result in an agreement that would avoid the trial set in August ... The mood was comfortable, positive and it was a mood that was consistent with opening at least a great dialogue, which is necessary."
Kaplan added that Kevin is seeking sole physical and legal custody of sons Preston and Jayden but wants Britney Spears to continue her current visitation terms. Britney was recently granted overnight visits with her two sons and Federline is more than happy to give the Britney not only more custody rights but the ability to be "involved in their lives in a very substantial and meaningful way".
"The trial in August is going to determine two primary issues," Kaplan said. "Custody and visitation, and attorneys' fees...In order to avoid the trial in all respects, there would have to be an agreement between the parties to resolve the attorneys' fees, and to put in place a custody arrangement that would carry forward...an expansion of the visitation."
Well I believe Britney is on the right track and I hope the better she gets the more involved she will be in her sons lives. Both her and Kevin seem to have their children's best interests in mind.

So let me get this straight. You marry and divorce a pop star and then suddenly you are able to command million dollar endorsement deals? Reality check - INO readers, if Kevin Federline was endorsing a product, would that entice you to purchase it? I mean what is this company thinking?
Kevin is in talks to receive seven figures to become the face for the Christopher Brian Collection according to In Touch.
“We feel Kevin would be a great model for the line,” Chris Stokes, a music producer who co-owns the denim brand, tells In Touch.
Nothing has been set in stone yet because Kevin is currently tied up working on his music and movie career.
“Kevin is also working with Chris on his music and movie career. He is in everyone’s good graces right now, so he feels like it’s the time for his career to shine,”
Elliot Mintz, a rep for the actor/singer (yes, Paris Hilton's rep), says that Kevin is getting back to business. We should expect more music from the rapper soon enough. Popozao!
“Kevin is getting back to work on his music activities.”

The group of paparazzi that document Britney Spears' every move have officially met their number one fan. And that man is Kevin Federline's lawyer in THE never ending custody battle, Mark Vincent Kaplan. He is so thankful for all the coverage the pop star gets because it literally saves his client millions of dollars in private investigation fees.
"If I had to hire an investigator or investigators to provide me with the intelligence about what’s going on, where they are, how are they doing, it would be north of half a million to a million dollars… as opposed to buying People magazine for $3.95 on Thursday morning or going on (website) TMZ.
"Everyone who had a big toe in this case at every level followed what was going on by looking at the web sites."
"No other case has had the media addiction and frenzy that surrounded this case and these people 24-seven. There’s never been anything like this, and there probably won’t be for a while."
I don't know why he is making such a big deal about that. In the end, you know Britney would have had to cover the fees anyway!

In one day alone, K-Fed used his business card to spend $2,632.50 at TAO Beach (the pool club at The Venetian Hotel). On another night, he spent $2,862.60 at TAO nightclub. One day at the Hard Rock Beach Club cost him $3,008.33.
Then there was Kevin's rockin' New Year's Eve at the Vegas branch of upscale strip club chain Scores, where he racked up a $365 tab - ” and left a $2,000 tip!
"What Mr. Federline may have purchased for gifts for others, or entertaining and/or hosting parties is irrelevant, though obviously and unfortunately, the other side tried to distract the court from what and how one should vacation."

"I spend most of the day chasing my kids around the house," Kevin shares. "Their needs define my schedule every day."
"It is so very important to me that my children will always know and never question, that no matter what happens, they have a mommy and daddy who love them very much," he says.
"I'm going to be the best role model for my kids. And if that example helps other young, single dads who might be going through the same experiences that I am right now, it would be a great compliment."

The DJ tried to take the microphone back after about three minutes, but he just kept going," a witness tells Us. "It didn't make any sense what he was saying. He was just blabbing on."

Spears' attorney Stacy Phillips argued that Kaplan was overbilling and that Federline can pay his own legal bills, but Gordon wrote that Spears' actions led to a great majority of the litigation and delays in the case.
