Lily Allen was spotted leaving Scotts Restaurant in London last night in an all black outfit. Personally, black doesn't really work on me. It washes me out and I always end up looking like I have bags under my eyes and have a need to consume blood.Â
What do you think about wearing a black dress, with black opague tights and black shoes? Is it too much?
In other news, here is a recent interview Lily did talking about her upcoming album, It's Not Me, It's You. The cd is due out in February of 09.

Lily Allen looked AMAZING on the red carpet at the GQ Men of the Year Awards held at the Royal Opera House in London yesterday. I don't think I've ever seen Lily looking this good, not to mention having so much fun doing it. What do you think about Lily's entire look?
In other news, did you hear about this kidnapping plot involving Lily's friend? Frightening!! The singer confessed she was left "terrified" after it became apparent one of her close friends had been kidnapped by thugs, who demanded money in exchange for their safe return. Allen’s pal and a co-worker were allegedly held at gunpoint at their place of work in London before being taken to an unknown address and held hostage for a week. The criminal gang subsequently contacted the pair’s families to ask for a ransom of $133,600.
However, British police burst in to the address and released the unharmed hostages. And Allen is pleased with the way the police handled the ordeal. She writes on her MySpace blog,
"Thank you to the Met for getting my friend back, we were all terrified and from what I hear you guys did an amazing job."

This is one of those quotes that you read and then wonder if the celebrity is regretting saying anything at all. Lily Allen recently sat down and did an interview with Paper Magazine and in it she said it's not in her nature to do crazy things.
When they asked her about the time she had to be carried out of an awards show because she was so drunk she said,
"I can't believe I got in that state...Because it is totally not in my repertoire to do something like that. I'm actually a bit of control freak"
She also added that she has trouble coping and tends to run away from her problems.
"My therapist says one of my coping mechanisms is to always be thinking of a way out."
And if the music thing doesn't work out, Lily has a back up plan.
"I wake up every day and think I'm actually pretty bad at it. I work hard at getting better. But if this record flops, I'll probably go back to school. I've always liked architecture."

Just another reason why being a celebrity isn't as glamorous as one would think. While exiting the Groucho Club and Ronnie Scott's a random person on the street started to yell and curse at Lily Allen. It went on for a few minutes and the heckler even followed the singer to her car. Finally, Lily turned around and punched the woman at least three times before her friends pulled her away and into the vehicle. Â
Waiting for Lily to blog about the event.Â

I'm finding that more and more celebrities are embracing the blog... and on a more frequent basis which is nice. Lily Allen is the latest celebrity to use MySpace to connect with her fans.

Whagwan Bluds ,
So i went on a little holiday to Ibiza last week
, didn't get much sun cause i've been glued to the Olympics . I did go
out one night though , to Space , it was all a bit of a blast from the
past, cause last time i was in Ibiza I was 15 and working on the main
strip in San Antonio selling tickets to nightclubs with tokens for free
shots of vomit inducing alcohol , living in a welsh hostel . It was
nice to experience the island in a different way , we went to lots of
nice restaurants and did lots of swimming and it was all very fun .
Now
, the album . it has been finished for a while now , I don't really
know whats going on with it . The record industry is a very political
place at the moment and I am on EMI records , lots of people have been
fired or have taken redundancy recently as the company was taken over
by a private equity firm called Terra Firma . Many of these people were
people assigned to my projects and now i don't quite know whats going
on . I'm sure everyone will find their feet soon enough and i'll be
able to put the album out soon .
