Madonna went all out while picking the outfit she would wear to celebrate her 50th birthday with husband Guy Ritchie. Thigh high boots, black tights, short shorts and a set of gold chains that would make Mr. T fall to the ground... hey to the now.

What do you think about Madonna's look? And I love how she is walking out of Swallow Street Club with Guy's present in hand. If you haven't heard, he bought her a $100,000 Rolex watch. Gave a quote about it and everything:

"She (Madonna) wanted it for a while, but she couldn't bring herself to spend that much money on a watch."

Happy birthday Madonna! The icon turned 50 today. I would comment on what age she really looks... but what does that mean anymore? 50 really is the new 30. Which is great for me because that means I am barely 10 years old. There's a lifetime of fun waiting to be had.

I never had a problem with the milestones. Ever. Even... 30. In fact, when I turned 30, I felt rather accomplished and proud of my new badge. 

How were you at 30? 40? 50? 60? Did it matter?

It doesn't to Madonna. While the actress didn't give a quote, her long time publisist Liz Rosenberg said the following to the NY Times.

''I'm sure she's happy to be an inspiration to women and men of any age,'' Rosenberg wrote in an e-mail. But the birthday, she noted wryly, ''is not quite the benchmark for her as it seems to be in the media, who have been talking about her 50th since she turned 40!''

Despite rampant Internet reports, Madonna is NOT planning on adopting a girl from Malawi says the singer's rep. Liz Rosenberg confirmed with Us Magazine that the story is an old one and utterly false.

"Madonna has not made an attempt to adopt this baby earlier this year or now," Liz Rosenberg tells Us.

Rosenberg also confirmed to Us what she told CelebTV.com: "There is no truth to this rumor. It's an old one - wasn't true then or now. Madonna is starting her tour in a week."

The Sun reported that Mercy James' family refused to allow the singer to take their child regardless of how much money she threw at them.

Madonna is supposedly on track to make another bid to adopt a little girl from Malawi. Last year she tried to bring home a child named Mercy James, but attempts were blocked at the last minute by the girl's father.

To be honest, I'm surprised she would try to adopt another child from the same country seeing as how David's adoption was filled with drama from the get go. But, I'm guessing that having that sweet little boy in her arms is worth all the trouble. :)

It's all about how the new thing to do is plump up and stretch until you are borderline unrecognizable. The worst addiction Hollywood has ever known.

Well, someone looks back to normal. While her hair and glasses are hiding the majority of her face, you can easily see that Madonna does NOT look as... tired as she did a few days ago. Those pictures were WILD!!

Here she is with her daughter Lourdes leaving the NYC Kabbalah center. What do you think caused the swelling? Cheek implants gone wrong? Too much water (yes, I'm making stuff up as I go along because I can't imagine what would cause that look besides surgery)? Not enough sleep?

The British Sun is reporting that Madonna and Guy Ritchie are planning to renew their wedding vows during a 50th birthday celebration next month at the couple's country estate.

"It’s a very important dinner for them they want everyone to know they are still in love." The special ceremony will reportedly take place at the celebrity couple’s British country estate, with two rabbis flying in from New York to officiate.

The event will coincide with the celebration of the pop star’s 50th birthday, according to the publication. Madonna turns 50 on 16 August.

Has anyone ever done this?

I've always said I wanted to renew my vows (with party of course) after 10 years of marriage. But that is RIGHT around the corner. So JUST LAST NIGHT I told hubby I want to wait until 15 years. That way our children will be old enough to participate and really understand what's happening. I just LOVE this idea. 

This post was originally going to be about celebrities wearing headbands. And then I saw this picture of Madonna and everything I wanted to say exited my brain.

I thought I had it bad lately (6 plus weeks). I haven't been sleeping AT ALL. I'm talking all nighters of me staring at the clock until it's time to get up when I then fall fast asleep. Have a doctor's appointment on Thursday. And believe me - I'm NOT a big doctor visitor. But I know something is wrong enough for me to at least get it checked out. 

But after seeing THIS SHOT - I mean, it isn't that bad after all is it? I still look human (not meaning to sound harsh).  Maybe I just need to drink more sleepytime tea or something. Madonna, on the other hand, needs an intervention. Take a break girl! My goodness. It will all be here tomorrow I promise!

When it rains, it pours. Rumors are flying that Madonna has a sex tape with Alex Rodriguez.

A cameraman is reportedly shopping the tape that was shot from a secret camera in an apartment where A-Rod and Madonna used to meet up.

The footage was supposedly shot two months ago and the apartment is owned by one of Madonna's Kabbalah friends.

If the video does exist, the camera man will most likely go to jail since he did not have the apartment owner's permission to install a camera in the house. He would face charges of burgalry and voyuerism.

Last night Madonna’s lawyers said they were “aware” of the lensman’s claims but were not commenting.

"Madonna is always trying to raise the bar and Britney and Timberlake on the same stage would be perfect. They have both been asked but I think both are a bit reluctant. Britney would find it all a bit emotional and JT might not fancy it. More likely is that they both appear on different dates. But if anyone can make this happen it’s Madonna."
