Miley Cyrus is 15 and her boyfriend, Justin Gaston, is 20.  A lot of parents might have a problem with this, but not Billy Ray Cyrus.  Billy was quoted as saying,

"He actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20-years-old and I was living and searching for the dream. He's got a great heart and soul, and a lot of determination. I think that's the true measure of a man, is when you measure his heart."

Aside from the age difference, as a parent watching your famous teen daughter date, must be hard because you just never know who has ulterior motives.  If this kid is in the business dating Miley is obviously very good for him. I don't know what to think. Personally I wouldn't want my daughter to date a 20 year old when she's 15, but then there's the other side of the coin...age is just a number.  What do you think?

My 14 year old cousin and I are in Disneyland ready to help celebrate Miley Cyrus' Sweet 16 birthday at Disneyland. The celebration will benefit ’Youth Service America’, an organization that aims to improve the lives of young Americans aged five to 25.

And just because I like to let you know everything that is going on...

It is Gay Day here at Disneyland in California. Thousands of gay men and women are all here celebrating their lives and I have to say it's an amazing thing. 

Through emails and message board communication (yes, I stopped a group and asked), everyone decided to come in red. Some have official "Gay Day 2008" shirts that they are wearing proudly while others are just donning red tees to show their involvement. It's a sea of red and it's beautiful because it really unifies the movement. 

It was a quiet weekend for most. Nothing too fantastic happened and the weather was on our side, so celebrities were spotted all around town running errands and getting some fresh air. Vanessa Minnillo went shopping at Yellow Dog boutique in the Beverly Glen Marketplace. I always love her fashion sense. Vanessa is always spot on!

Jennifer Garner picked up several bags of Vincente Food along with a friend while Miley Cyrus and her family headed over to Trader Joes.

I LOVE Trader Joes. There are a few of them on the Island and hubby and I go at least once a month to stock up our pantry with healthy goodness. Recently I drove by the one that opened in the city and there was LITERALLY a line around the BLOCK. We thought it was a concert at first, and then saw that the line ended at the Trader Joes entry. WHAT?! Can you imagine waiting that long to get groceries? 

Despite reports claiming that Miley Cyrus was ready to quit Hannah Montana, the actress has come forward to say she has no intentions of leaving.

"I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people. I’m really excited about our new season. We are making great new episodes that I can’t wait for our fans to see."

This is a far cry from last week's story lines isn't it? Wasn't there something going around claiming Miley began to arrive late to set hoping Disney would just fire her? Perhaps a financial agreement has changed her mind?

Wow.  So THIS is the kind of starpower that Miley Cyrus commands.  She told Disney execs that moving forward in her career she'd like to do movies like A Walk to Remember.  Bada boom, bada bing....DONE!  Nicholas Sparks, author of A Walk to Remember is now simultanerously writing a book and a screenplay for her that will star Miley when they're done.

When he told Miley about the plot — which is being kept under wraps but focuses on family and romance -- she was intrigued.

Sparks told Variety that the Cyrus clan was "very familiar with the work I've done in the past. That played a role in this project coming together."

A Walk to Remember was SO good.  Do you think a similar style movie starring Miley could be as big?

That's what the paps are saying at least. Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana co-star Cody Lonely left his place around 10 pm on Tuesday evening. Guess Miley met her curfew and Cody was taking her back home. Is the on-screen heart-breaker her new real-life boyfriend?

The next morning, Miley and her grandmother Ruth Ann were spotted leaving a recording studio in Burbank.
