American Idol Adds Fourth Judge American Idol is adding a fourth judge to the panel – songwriter Kara DioGuardi.
“We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” show creator Simon Fuller said in a statement released Monday. “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America’s most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show.”
So what is Kara’s deal? She’s been responsible for hitssung by Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, Gwen Stefani, Celine Dion, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Santana, and Pink.
Looks like AI is trying to keep things fresh and exciting. The last 27 seasons have had slight alterations as we progressed over the years.
What do you think about adding the fourth judge? What happens if it’s an even split decision? Which will probably happen more times than not! Don’t you need an odd number of judges? Perhaps this is a way for American Idol to ensure more conflict.

John Mayer supposedly loves the attention from the paparazzi, but apparently the paparazzi no longer love him. Now that he’s no longer with Jennifer Aniston, the press attention has died down.“He thinks he’s famous as Jen now. Last week he went to a party, tipped
off the paps, and even had decoy cars at the ready when he was
leaving,” says one paparazzo. “Nice, but no one bothered to follow
them, which made John think he ‘lost’ everyone, when really no one
bothered to follow him.”The value of a John Mayer photo on it’s own isn’t worth it for some of the agencies.
“Pictures of him and Jen were selling for $20,000 at one point. A
picture of him alone gets $200 now. Chasing him from his apartment to
Nobu is hardly worth it.”$20,000, WOW. But, I believe it. I remember when the first fuzzy pics of John and Jen at the pool together came out…we were all shocked and dying for more!

Isn’t this… wrong? It’s like a planned wedding with a planned audience. Is it as special this way? Are we going to ooh and ahhh at Melanie in her wedding gown knowing these details?

Amanda Bynes In Minor Car Accident – At Fault Police have determined actress Amanda Bynes is to blame for a car accident that left another driver with minor injuries.
The Hairspray star, 22, was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol when she caused the collision on Saturday in Los Angeles, authorities confirm.Sgt. Murrel Pettway of the Los Angeles Police Department tells People.com,
"Ms Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her. It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed. The other driver complained of minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident.
