Happy birthday Madonna! The icon turned 50 today. I would comment on what age she really looks… but what does that mean anymore? 50 really is the new 30. Which is great for me because that means I am barely 10 years old. There’s a lifetime of fun waiting to be had.

I never had a problem with the milestones. Ever. Even… 30. In fact, when I turned 30, I felt rather accomplished and proud of my new badge.

How were you at 30? 40? 50? 60? Did it matter?

It doesn’t to Madonna. While the actress didn’t give a quote, her long time publisist Liz
Rosenberg said the following to the NY Times.

”I’m sure she’s happy to be an inspiration to women and men
of any age,” Rosenberg wrote in an e-mail. But the birthday, she noted
wryly, ”is not quite the benchmark for her as it seems to be in the
media, who have been talking about her 50th since she turned 40!”

Katie Holmes And Tom Cruise Out With Suri

Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and daughter Suri were spotted leaving their apartment in Manhattan on Friday to head to Katie’s rehearsal’s for All My Sons.

Suri looks too adorable in these pictures. She looks so much like her mom and seems to have quite a personality.

Katie Holmes got a visit from Tom Cruise during rehersals for her upcoming Broadway Play, All My Sons. Embracing this season’s hottest nail trend, the actress was sporting metallic blue polish.

Woody Allen Didn’t Know Who Scarlett Johansson Was

Well, obviously that’s since changed, but back in the day Woody Allen had absolutely no clue who Scarlett Johansson was. Now she’s his muse, but it all started by accident.

Woody said,

"Yeah, Scarlett was an accident," he says. He had hired Kate Winslet for Match Point but she dropped out at the last minute.
"I didn’t know Scarlett from a hole in the wall," Allen admits. But he
was in a bind. "I hired her and became totally captivated by her," says
Allen.

Now, like with past muses before her, Woody uses Scarlett for every movie he can.

"Whenever there is a part that fits, I would always call her
(Scarlett), as I did with Keaton for years," he says. "I did that with
Mia [Farrow]. And she never let me down. I think the same would be true
with Scarlett."

Can you imagine if Kate Winslet had taken the role in Match Point…then we’d probably have Kate in Lost in Translation and everything else Scarlett has done in the past couple of years.

Insufficient Evidence To Convict Christian Bale

So, in the end Christian Bale didn’t have to plead guilty in order to get the charges dropped. Police have now said there is insufficient evidence to go any further with this and he’s off the hook.

A spokesman for the U.K.’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has now
explained their decision to drop the investigation, declaring there was
"insufficient evidence to afford a realistic prospect of conviction."

He continues, "The police have been advised that no further action
should be taken against Mr. Bale." A representative for the
Metropolitan Police adds: "On the advice of the CPS we shall be taking
no further action. We will not be commenting further."

So that’s that. I’m sure Christian is happy to be closing this chapter in his life.

Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know Is About David Coulier

Am I the only one that didn’t know this? I understand the song is old, but I just had to post this. I mean, JOEY from Full House?! Going down in a theatre? Are you thinking of me when you … ?

Yes, I’ve been under a rock. But for those of you who have comfortably been sharing the space with me: Alanis Morissette wrote ‘You Oughta Know‘ about David Coulier from Full House. Read the lyrics with this new information and see it in a whole new light.

Here he is talking about figuring it all out himself.

"(When I first heard the song) I said, ‘Wow, this girl is angry,’And
then I said, ‘Oh man, I think it’s Alanis.’ I listened to the song over
and over again, and I said, ‘I think I have really hurt this person.’"

"We saw each other and hung out for an entire day. And it was
