Death Threats Against Jon Cryer Shut Down Set

The set of ‘Two and a Half Men’ was closed to audiences after death threats against Jon Cryer forced security to clear the premises on Friday.

Jon Cryer alerted the FBI to the threats, of which a source says that Jon believes his ex-wife has hired a hitman to kill him! Jon and ex-wife Sarah Trigger have been bitterly locked in a custody battle since she was arrested with felony child neglect back in 2009. TMZ reported that things had become even more tense recently.

The FBI has been working on the death threat case since last week, but currently aren’t naming any suspects.

According to TMZ, Jon feels the threat has now diminished:

Our sources say Cryer has told people the threat has abated and he feels more secure.

E! reports that Sarah’s attorney denies her involvement in any way:

“This is the father of her child, and I think it’s outrageous that these rumors are being spread,” attorney Vicki Greene tells E! News

“I can tell you that Sarah and I have not been contacted by the FBI,” adds Greene. “I don’t think she’s involved at all.”

I bet the staff of the show are ready for a break from the stress! First the drama with Charlie Sheen’s Christmas arrest and now this!

Rep Says No Truth To Kanye West Being Banned From Telethon

Rumors have been circulating, saying that Kanye West had been banned from Friday’s “Hope For Haiti” telethon. It was speculated that the reason for his ban was because of the outburst he had at the 2004 Concert for Hurricane Relief, where he infamously blurted out that President Bush hated black people. Adding to that, the outburst at the VMA’s back in September, giving people plenty of reason to be wary of another live outburst.

But, a rep for MTV said today that it’s simply untrue. In fact, they’ve tried to reach out to him for help.

“That’s absolutely not true. We DID reach out to Kanye.”

They say he hasn’t responded to the request.

Do you think Kanye will be vilified now if he DOESN’T show up? People might say that he doesn’t care about Haiti. I don’t think he can win either way. Hopefully he will agree to do it and it all goes smoothly.

Conan O’Brien And NBC Reach A Settlement

Conan O’Brien and NBC have reached an official settlement, confirmed by both NBC and Conan’s manager. Friday will be Conan’s last show as ‘The Tonight Show’ host.

“In the end, Conan was appreciative of the steps NBC made to take care of his staff and crew, and decided to supplement the severance they were getting out of his own pocket,” Gavin Polone, O’Brien’s manager [said]. “Now he just wants to get back on the air as quickly as possible.”

NBC said the deal came to $45 million total, with $12 million going to Conan’s staff (who relocated from New York to LA when Conan started ‘The Tonight Show’). Conan’s intellectual properties, such as Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog, will stay with NBC, and Conan cannot go back on the air before September 1, 2010.

Tom Hanks and Will Ferrell are expected on Conan’s final show this Friday. Tom confirmed his appearance on twitter.

NBC and Conan O’Brien have reached a resolution of the issues surrounding O’Brien’s contract to host The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.

Under terms of an agreement that was signed earlier today, NBC and O’Brien will settle their contractual obligations and the network will release O’Brien from his contract, freeing him to pursue other opportunities after September 1, 2010.

O’Brien will make his final appearance as host of The Tonight Show on January 22.

Jay Leno will return to ‘The Tonight Show’ on March 1, with Jimmy Fallon following at 12:35 am.

Angelina Jolie Had Affair With Dialect Coach?

An ex-employee of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York is claiming that Angelina Jolie has been cheating on Brad Pitt. Anna Kowalski, a housekeeper who was often assigned to the hotel’s top guests, claims to have worked often with the Jolie-Pitt clan over the past few years.

She claims, in an exclusive interview with In Touch, that Angelina was having an affair this summer with her dialect coach, while she filmed “Salt” and Brad had the kids at their mansion on Long Island.

“She would see the tutor while a bodyguard stood entrance at the suite,”

She claims that one night, she was cleaning up a big mess that left little to the imagination of what was going on:

“The room was a disaster,” she explains. “There was water all over the bathroom and empty vodka bottles everywhere. Every towel had been used. And over five dozen cattleya orchids were scattered around the room, and there were the tops of the flowers in the tub, with candles.” Once Anna got into the bedroom, she shares, she got an eyeful. “The bed was covered with black rubber sheets, and there were sex toys on it,”

Anna tells In Touch that she was fired in December:

she claims she did not get off Brad and Angelina’s floor fast enough when security shut it down for a doctor’s visit

Brooke Mueller Is In Intensive Care Unit

Brooke Mueller, wife of Charlie Sheen, was rushed to the hospital last night. She is now in the intensive care unit. Brooke had been suffering from a fever of 105, stemming from an impacted wisdsom tooth surgery earlier in the week.

Her lawyer shared with People:

“Brooke is in the hospital ICU related to the surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth,” her lawyer Yale Galanter tells PEOPLE. “They are trying to get the infection and fever under control. The infection has spread.”

Charlie was seen at the hospital to be with his wife, even though there is a restraining order in place. The couple hasn’t been able to get the restraining order amended, due to the schedule of the judge and now because of Brooke’s illness.

“Mueller wants to be able to communicate with her husband and hopes they can go back together as a family with their 9-month-old twins, Bob and Max,” Galanter tells PEOPLE.

Given the circumstance, I’m sure the judge will hopefully understand Charlie not wanting to stay away from his wife during this medical crisis. Hopefully they get the infection under control and she’s well soon. How scary!
