Charlie Sheen And His Wife Will Stay Together, Get Help

Charlie Sheen’s reps have made one thing perfectly clear since the actor’s arrest: there will be no divorce.

“They are both deeply upset about what happened and are trying to work things out amicably. They both want to get away from all the sensationalism surrounding what happened and quietly resolve things.”

Instead, the couple reportedly plan to get counseling.

“Both he and Brooke will undergo counseling and Charlie will get anger management counseling.”

A substance abuse evaluation probably wouldn’t hurt, either. And I guess all of this will take place once the mandatory restraining order that was placed against Charlie is lifted.

Hopefully, for the sake of their sons, they are able to resolve things and stay safe.

Jon Gosselin’s Apartment “Cut To Pieces”

Someone is really angry with Jon Gosselin. Yesterday he found his apartment “cut to pieces,” according to TMZ.

Jon’s attorney tells TMZ … when Jon entered his Manhattan apartment this afternoon, he found his “shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings” had been slashed by a “sick perpetrator” — and it doesn’t stop there.

We’re told Jon’s television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were taken from his apartment. Jon’s attorney also says a Ming vase, believed to be over 100 years old … was “smashed to pieces.”

As for the note that was left behind … it was “speared” to Jon’s bedroom dresser with a butcher knife.

I can see where that would be upsetting.

The note reportedly is signed with ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman’s signature, but there’s no way to prove she actually signed it. Yet. The NYPD has taken fingerprints from the apartment and is investigating, but even if they do find Hailey’s prints, she only moved out a few days ago, so what does that prove?

Hailey, however, reportedly has already hired an attorney for herself, but she still plans to speak with police. She claims Jon is trying to get her arrested for publicity. She recently accused Jon of taking her half of the rent money but not paying the rent.

Talk about holiday drama!

Charlie Sheen Released From Jail

Charlie Sheen spoke to a judge, posted an $8500 bond, and was released from jail last night. TMZ is reported alcohol was involved in the alleged domestic violence incident, but it was Brooke Mueller, Charlie’s wife, who was legally drunk, not Charlie.

Brooke reportedly recanted her allegations of domestic violence right before Charlie’s bond hearing. Charlie claims he was simply defending himself against Brooke, but he was still charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor relating to domestic violence.

Charlie is due back in court February 8. What a mess.

Charlie Sheen Arrested In Colorado Today

Actor Charlie Sheen was arrested in Colorado today after a domestic dispute with his wife, Brooke. He has been booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief. He’s being held without bond until his court appearance. I’m guessing he’ll have to wait until Monday to see the judge since it’s a holiday.

Charlie’s rep issued this statement:

“Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”

What a horrible way to spend Christmas, especially since it’s their twin boys’ first Christmas. How awful. Hopefully his daughters weren’t in Aspen with them to witness whatever went down at the house today.

Susan Sarandon Dating Rumors Begin Already

The news of Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins splitting up JUST hit the press yesterday and already the rumors are flying. Apparently, there have been stories circulating that Susan is dating her 31-year old business partner. Her rep is attempting to squash those rumors today.

“The rumors are absolutely untrue,” Sarandon’s rep Teal Cannaday. “Susan’s relationship with Jonathan Bricklin is strictly a business one.”

I bet they’ll have her linked with every young guy that she comes in contact with now.

Do you think there’s any shred of possibility to this? Even though they just announced the breakup, rumor has it that the two split this summer already. So, it really wouldn’t be too outlandish if they each started dating sometime in the near future, right?

“Balloon Boy” Parents Sentenced To Jail

Want to pull off a hoax that has officials from multiple agencies and the media looking for your kid? If you do, remember Richard and Mayumi Heene: they’re now facing jail for the stunt.

Richard was just sentenced to 90 days in jail. He’ll be allowed to served 60 of the 90 days on a work-release program. Richard will also be on probation for four years and is not allowed to profit from the incident during his probation.

How about he’s NOT EVER allowed to profit from the hoax?
