Randy Quaid Finally Shows Up For Court Randy Quaid finally had his day in court. The actor and his wife, Evi, had been accused of running out on a hotel bill bill back in September, and then failed to show up for several hearings and had warrants issued for their arrest. Today the two made it to their hearing and plead not guilty.
The judge recalled the earlier arrest warrants and also lowered their bail to $20,000 each. The two are due back in court March 1st for a preliminary hearing.
“A lot of things can happen between now and then,” Santa Barbara Detective Rod Forney, who worked on the case, tells PEOPLE. “It could be dropped to a misdemeanor or there could be some kind of plea.”
The couple didn’t speak to any press but their attorney shared this:
They were never on the run from the law,” Ponton said. “There’s a lot of misinformation out there about this. It’s much ado about nothing.”
I think if it was a simple misunderstanding, it would’ve been handled a lot quicker and quieter, don’t you think? Hopefully they can get this settled before the March 1st hearing and put this wacky tale behind them.

Diane Kruger To Be Cast In “The Green Lantern”? Rumors are swirling that Diane Kruger is in the running with 4 other actresses for the female lead in the upcoming movie ‘The Green Lantern’, starring Ryan Reynolds. The role is character Carol Ferris – Hal Jordan’s (the green lantern) love interest in the film.
The other actresses reportedly in consideration are: Jennifer Garner, Blake Lively, Eva Green and Keri Russell. That’s some tough competition!
Looks like a SAG nomination might not be the only thing Diane has to celebrate this holiday season!

Is Tiger Woods Still In Contact With One Of His Mistresses? According to In Touch, the golfer is. Tiger Woods supposedly is still meeting up with the first mistress to be outed, Rachel Uchitel. Rachel has been photographed in Palm Beach; reportedly her parents live there. But Tiger is supposed to still be there himself, not off sailing, as was previously reported.
“They have been sleeping together the entire time since the scandal broke,” her friend says. “They hooked up in a condo she’s been staying at in Palm Beach.
“Rachel’s condo is 500 feet from where Tiger’s boat is docked. He has been visiting her there. She’s madly in love with him, and she believes that he loves her as well.”
In Touch reports Tiger secretly flew to LA on December 4 to be with her. I find that one really hard to believe, but you know, we haven’t seen a single photograph of Tiger since this whole scandal started, so who knows where he is?
This story seems unbelievable to me, but you know, two months ago, I would’ve laughed if you told me Tiger was going to get caught up in a sex scandal with 14 alleged mistresses. What do you think?

Amy Winehouse Involved In Altercation At Theater People is reporting that Amy Winehouse was involved in a “scuffle” at a holiday pantomime show in England. Witnesses are claiming that she became boisterous and shouted obscenities at the cast of Cinderella, which included actor Mickey Rourke.
Staff tried to usher her into a private box, but the singer allegedly kicked and punched front-of-house manager Richard Pound before being dragged out by her own security staff.
A friend of Amy’s shared that she hasn’t been arrested over the incident.
“Amy was invited by a friend of hers starring in the show,” adding that no charges were brought against her. “She wasn’t arrested, and she hasn’t been questioned by the police yet.”
The police would only share this:
“At around 9:05 p.m. on Saturday night officers were called to the Milton Keynes Theatre in Marlborough Gate, following reports that a 27-year-old man had been assaulted. No arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated.”
Hopefully these are just exaggerated claims? Amy was accused of assault on a fan at a charity event back in 2008 but was cleared of the charges. I believe there were a few pap incidents, as well, if I remember correctly?

They only posted the top 75. It’s crazy when you think that there were hundreds and hundreds more! Tiger Woods Sets Sail While Elin Considers Things Well, I guess there probably isn’t anywhere in the world Tiger Woods could go and be left in peace, so he’s getting away from it all (with a few buddies, according to People) on his yacht, which is named Privacy.
“Tiger’s boat Privacy has been docked at Old Port Cove in North Palm Beach for more than a week,” the source tells PEOPLE. “On Saturday morning, after stocking up on provisions from Costco on Northlake Blvd., the boat left town.”
Meanwhile, according to TMZ, Elin Nordegren is “conflicted” about whether or not to end her marriage to Tiger.
We’re told Elin is not going to file for divorce immediately, but there are two issues she just can’t get past — that Tiger allegedly had a 3-year relationship with one of the women, and another alleged affair occurred while Elin was pregnant…
Trust is her issue.
You think? I can understand Elin going back and forth; her world’s probably been ROCKED. I think she should take as much time as she needs to figure things out.
