"Birth is very challenging in the best way possible. Every fiber of your being is alive. It’s like you are conducting electricity; literally creating something. "I’d like to give birth every year if I could, just for that experience."
-- Thandie Newton

Thandie Newton was offered a part in Charlie's Angels. She turned it down and said she didn't think it would have been a good idea to become that famous.
"In career terms it was a platinum opportunity. Or, as my agent put it, 'a one-two punch'.
I was going to do it for about 24 hours. But then I woke up and it just didn't feel right. It would have meant entering that virtual world of stardom, but I'd been away from home for nine months (filming Mission: Impossible II) and it would have meant another six months away."
Her agent and manager were NOT happy with her decision, so much so that they soon parted ways with her.
"They were appalled. They thought I was committing career suicide."
An actor who doesn't want to be famous? Now that's an oxymoron if I ever heard one.

Thandie Newton attended the 'Rocknrolla' World Premiere held at the Odeon West End in London wearing a plain white Roman inspired dress. She had to be very careful while walking in the wind as her legs were fully exposed with each step. Walk very slowly Thandie!
What do you think about her choice? Love it or Hate it?

I think the best one was when we were doing the press junket together in London, where the movie opened. Thandie, Simon and I were in three different rooms with all these on camera interviews. Thandie had got there hours before Simon and I, and she had filled every one of his 12 giant bottles of water with vodka. So when he was in the middle of his first interview on camera and he goes to take a (swig) during the interview, a huge gulp and just spits up everywhere all over the interviewer. That was probably the best prank."Flynetonline.com
