Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith attended the premiere of, "Lakeview Terrace" at the AMC Lincoln Square in NYC last night. Also there was Jada's younger brother Caleeb Pinkett who has a small part in the movie. Is anyone interested in seeing this film? It's about a cop (Samuel Jackson) that terrorizes a couple trying to get them to move out of his neighborhood. No matter who they report the cop's actions to, no one sides with them as Samuel has a great reputation with the locals. SCARY being so helpless and untrusted.

Balancing career and family life is always difficult.  To try and keep the family closer Jada Pinkett Smith asked Will Smith to take some time off after Hancock, but now she says she "might have made a mistake," in asking him to do so.

"It’s been tricky. We just moved into the new house not too long ago and he’s basically knocking walls down, he’s digging up stuff. He’s beating it to death… I told him, ‘Going back to work after Thanksgiving may be a good idea.’"

But, fortunately for her the couple may do some projects together,

"He decided he wanted to focus on developing projects for the family… so now it’s all of these excruciating meetings about these movies and projects for the family that he wants to develop. But, you know, that’s a beautiful thing that he wants to do that."

I don't know about family projects.  It seems like a lot of the time when real life couples work together films end up bombing.  It's the over-exposed effect. Think J-Lo and Ben Affleck in Gigli.

The Women premiered in L.A. yesterday and quite the range of celebrities came out.  In attendance were

Did you enjoy I am Legend with Will Smith? If so, I have good news. A prequel is in the works for the movie and everyone is on board. The film will concentrate on Legend's back story. Director Francis Lawrence confirms:

"Absolutely (there will be a prequel), we’re actually trying to crack that. We’re trying to figure out some ideas for it, but yes, it would be a prequel."

The film crew will have an easier time this go around because shutting down 6th avenue in NYC is NOT an easy feat. 

"The first time you go out there and shut down 6th Avenue, it’s like, ‘How are we going to do this day after day after day?’ But by the end, it’s just like you know how to do it.
"You got the PAs (personal assistants) who know how to shut it down, how to let the traffic through in between set-ups and you just sort of get the routine down, so that’s not the issue."

Forbes took on the daunting task of figuring out how much money celebrities earned last year and guess who came out on top? Will Smith earned more money than anyone else in Hollywood. Can you imagine making $80 million EVER in a year?

There are interesting dynamics to every marriage. I always love to hear what celebrities have to say about how they interact with their partners. Will Smith has just thrown me for a loop though. He says that if Jada Pinkett Smith wants to sleep with someone else, that's fine, as long as he knows about it ahead of time!

And Will, 39, reckons he'll tell Jada - and she'll tell him - if they ever feel the need to have sex with others.

Each will say: "I'm not going to do it if you don’t approve of it," he says.

If Jada actually did it though, that might be a different story.

"I don't know how I'd feel," he confesses. "But I know I would react better than if I found out about it afterwards."

He also adds that Jada has no problem with him checking out other women, and vice versa.

"Our perspective is, you don't avoid what’s natural and you're going to be attracted to people," Will explains.

"So sometimes we have the discussion: 'Wow, this or that girl is freaking gorgeous.' I'm not going to say anything to my buddies that's any different than what I say to my wife."

Do does that mean Will and Jada are considered to be in an open relationship...sort of?

And what about you...would those, "That girl/guy is HOT!" type of comments fly in your relationship???

So, does this confirm the Scientology rumors about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith? I thought they were just being associated with the religion because of the their close friendship with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, but if the L.A. Times is right, things go a lot farther than that.

Will and Jada are opening a school that will give grants to young people for arts and education. And 80% of the kids that attend their school will receive financial assistance.

The school says they have no religious affiliation, but,

"Some of its teachers are members of the Church of Scientology, and it will use teaching methods developed by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard."

Some people think that the school isn't fulling disclosing their connection to the religion. A spokesperson for a California Association of Private Schools Organization said,

"I know next to nothing about Scientology, but if you're using some method or technology closely associated with Scientology and Scientology is characterized as a church or religious body, it raises a question if they proclaim themselves as other than religious," Reynolds said. He has not seen the school's website.

"I don't want to insinuate the school is failing to disclose anything. But as a matter of good practice, if a school has an affiliation, it would behoove it to expose it."
