Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt walked hand in hand at the 2009 Critic's Choice Awards at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium last night looking very much in love. They both are big stars in their own right, but when together they always cause quite a stir. It doesn't help that this award season is all theirs!! :)

American Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell (she placed seventh in the show's second season) returned to the spotlight when she caught the eye (and the heart) of American Idol winner David Cook.  David recently proposed with a $54,000 engagement ring.  Yet, according to Star magazine, Kimberly was caught getting a little too cozy with an LA bar manager named Ryan Der on December 29.

'Everyone could see she was really letting loose,' an insider tells Star. 'She and Ryan were laughing together as they threw back beers and vodka cocktails.' " 

It supposedly didn't end there.

Before long, says the insider, Kim and Ryan, a tall hunk with a shaved head, were "grinding on the dance floor. They started playfully kissing, but that quickly led to long lip locks until they were full-on making out.” 

This is Star, so whether or not it's true remains to be seen.  Hopefully it's not.  David seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield (the lady in the center of the picture above) recently celebrated a birthday and took time out from the fesitivities to talk about her life since starring in the show.  Her life has changed (in a great way) since the show aired last fall.

However, Sheree did say that the show's portrayal of her was not entirely accurate.  Rather, it was incomplete.

Hopefully, the editors, [next] time around, will allow people to see more of who I am as a person and instead of everything being so one-sided... [T]he character on television is not me everyday. There is a softer side to me... I feel [the editors] did what they had to do to make a great show... That is me that you see, yes, but it’s not who I am everyday. They focus on one aspect of my personality."

For the next season, we may get to see Sheree enjoying the single life now that her divorce is nearly finalized.

We are in the final stages of the divorce and the settlement and I cannot wait to be single and hot again!"

If the pole dancing was any indication, this should be interesting ;)

And Sheree is still working on her fashion line, She by Sheree, and other projects.

It’s awesome. It is a fall ‘09 delivery and I am excited about it. That is what I am. I am fashion. It’s second nature to me. I am also writing a book and doing a workout video."

Sheree is one busy lady!  She also said that she and castmate NeNe Leakes are "cordial."  I can't wait to see what that actually means ;)

UPDATE:  According to TMZ, life may not be quite so fabulous for Sheree.  They report she has just filed an appeal over her divorce settlement with the Georgia Supreme Court.

According to a court spokesperson, Sheree's lawyers argued she was wrongly denied alimony -- and needs it because she lacks the education and skill set to make good money on her own."

The original settlement reportedly netted Sheree a lump sum of $775,000, more than $1.1 million in marital property, a portion of her ex-husband's NFL retirement fund, and $2,142 a month in child support, but no alimony. 

I wish they were filming right now so we could see this all play out!  Oh well. Hopefully everything will work out to Sheree's satisfaction.

High School Musical star KayCee Stroh is preparing for the biggest role of her life so far: the role of bride.  KayCee says she's normally "spacy KayCee" but for the wedding she has worked hard to have "every detail in place."

'I have been dreaming about my wedding day since I was 10,' says a giddy Stroh, 24, whose upcoming wedding with boyfriend Ben Higginson, 24, will be in Utah. 'I know the man is the right man, but I'm worried about all of the wedding drama, you know?' "

Oh, I'd imagine any bride could understand ;)

To help manage her stress and get ready for the big day, KayCee said she has been working out with trainer Justin Dees who owns a Utah-based company called The Fit Bride.  But mostly, KayCee just works to stay positive.

'Ben hung the moon and the stars for me and he feels the same way about me,' she says. 'With everything in my life, I am truly blessed.' "

Now that's the right attitude.  Congratulations to the couple!

I do the same thing - although my snack box usually consists of fish or pretzels. Anything that can last for a while in a diaper bag because I tend to forget to repack! :)

Suri picked up that sweet cookie at Dean and Deluca prior to the trip. I'm trying not to look at how delicious it looks and instead focus on my rice cake instead... love the taste of a mouthful of nothing. Really I do.

Ugly Betty's Ana Ortiz has announced that she and her husband, Half Life guitarist Noah Lebenzon, are expecting their first child.  The baby is due at the end of July.

'They are thrilled and ecstatic,' says a friend of the New York City-based couple. 'They can't wait to be parents.' "

Ana had told People in September that part of the reason she was "feeling the itch to have children" was because all of her co-workers were having babies!  Costar Rebecca Romijn had twin girls earlier this week, and costar Eric Mabius and his wife had a son in December.

Congratulations to Ana and Noah!  Did any of you find that seeing other people around you having kids urged you along?
