  Jessica Simpson Dines At Dos Caminos In NYC

  I was THERE yesterday! I met my friend for lunch to celebrate Cinco de Mayo over a bowl of amazing guacamole. Too bad the timing didn’t work out because I would have loved to see Jessica.

  Here’s Jessica Simpson walking into Dos Caminos in NYC to meet several friends for dinner. Yesterday wasn’t all play for the singer though. She met up with the denim buyer from Macy’s NYC and worked on finalizing details for the launch of her line. Looks like things worked out because Jessica announced that her denim line is due out this July!

  I LOVE Jessica’s shoe line – so I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us.

  Jessica Simpson Cuts Her Hair – For Real This Time

  Jessica Simpson joked around earlier this month about cutting off her hair, but was really only donning a wig. The singer and star of “The Price of Beauty”, was apparently inspired by it and had her BFF, Ken Paves, chop her locks!

  Jessica took to Twitter today to share her new ‘do. It’s not anywhere near as short as the wig photos, but what do you think? I think it looks great, but I still think she should’ve went for it and did something like this.

  ‘Glee’ Takes Aim At Jessica Simpson

  Tonight’s episode of ‘Glee’ takes a swipe at Jessica Simpson. Reportedly, a line in the script goes a little something like this:

  “Sometimes I wish I could be more like Coach Tanaka. He pulled a Jessica Simpson — you know, lost his fiancé, gained 40 pounds, stopped showering, and everyone acts like that is totally normal.”

  Wow. That’s harsh. But according to someone close to Jessica’s new show, she’s used to it:

  “She’s so used to being a punching bag,” an insider close to the Price of Beauty star tells Life & Style. “It’s all part of the inspiration for her new show.”

  Jessica Simpson For Marie Claire Magazine

  Jessica Simpson graces the May cover of Marie Claire (on newsstands April 13) with absolutely no makeup or retouching. This was all done to help promote her new initiative, “A Beautiful Me” – a program the singer is launching to encourage young women to love themselves and feel comfortable in their own skin. The program launches at the close of her VH1 series in May.

  Wow – I doubt many celebs would do a shoot like this.

  Jessica is the magazine’s May guest beauty editor and embraces the new natural look with air-dried hair and no makeup.

  “I don’t have anything to prove anymore. What other people think of me is not my business. If I’m in a mood to go out and feel hot and sexy, I want long hair that I can feel on my back. But I also like bed head.”

  Jessica Simpson Wants To Date A Chef?

  Jessica Simpson stopped by the Rachael Ray show this morning to chat about her new show, her nephew, dating and motherhood.

  Rachael asked Jessica if she’s ever considered dating “outside of the industry”:

  I’ve definitely been thinking that. Maybe a chef! If you know some cute chefs, send them my way!

  When she finds that chef, she says she absolutely plans to be a mother:

  I absolutely want kids! I can’t wait to have kids, so hopefully someday. I want to meet the right person. Or you know if by the time I’m 45, I don’t have kids, I always have my best friend Ken Paves and we could just have a kid together! Why not?

  She also shared a bit about being an aunt to Bronx:

  Baby Bronx is adorable. He is walking and he did say Jessie which I was really excited about! Yeah, I love being an Aunt. And he’s like bigger than my sister and Pete. He’s big kid!

  Jessica Simpson Wants To Have Babies With Ken Paves

  Jessica Simpson sat down with the ladies of The View this morning and dished about her desire for kids.

  ” I can’t wait to have kids. I want to have kids. If I don’t have kids by the time I’m 40, my best friend Ken Paves and I are going to have children!”

  Ken is obviously on board with this, as he was in the audience and shouted out:

  “I’m trying to convince her to go [for a baby] before I turn 40!”

  Sherri Shepherd was impressed with Ken’s varied skills -

  “He can fix your hair extensions and impregnate you,”

  Leave it to Sherri to make that observation. LOL! Jessica also showed she has a sense of humor about her fashion faux pas. She said in the future she would:

  “put out my denim line and I’m going to make sexy mom jeans!”

  Do you think Jessica and Ken should just skip trying to find a “perfect mate” and just have kids together? Do you have a best friend you’d consider having kids with?

  After the interview, the two of them were snapped heading to lunch at Luxembourg. And then she was spotted at JFK heading out of NYC already! She has to be exhausted from all of this promoting!

  Jessica Simpson Can’t Expect People To Not Have Opinions

  Jessica Simpson talked to USA Today and actually gave a very level-headed view on celebrity and how she handles it, especially criticism.

  “Right now I’m so numb to it I wouldn’t take offense,” says Simpson, who takes viewers on a journey of personal discovery through her VH1 show, The Price of Beauty (premieres tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT). “I’ve allowed my life to be public, and that is my responsibility. I can’t expect people to not have opinions on how you live your life.”

  I’m actually impressed with this because, let’s face it, it’s true. If you live your life in the public eye, and make your living that way, then you have to have a thick enough skin to withstand the downside, which includes people’s judgments.

  Jessica made ‘The Price of Beauty’ as a response to all the criticism she’s received over the past year about her appearance.

  “At the time I just didn’t talk about it at all. I just didn’t want to give it any attention,” Simpson says. “I thought the best way to do it was to discover beauty by myself. I think the world kind of gave me this favor. I don’t think I would have been as receptive to the idea of this show until now.”

  I have to admit, I’m REALLY curious about this show. Do you think you’ll tune in tonight?

  In this sneak peak from Jessica Simpson’s upcoming reality show/documentary “The Price of Beauty”, she visits a Buddhist temple in Thailand with Ken Paves and Cacee Cobb. A Buddhist monk tries to show them how to meditate, but the process takes a bit longer than Jessica realized and the harder she tries to restrain herself…the less successful she is.

  Jessica Simpson Hopes To Find Mr. Right Before She Dies

  Jessica Simpson hasn’t lost hope of finding “Mr. Right”. She shared her thoughts on relationships today at the IHeartRadio presents “An Evening with Jessica Simpson” in Manhattan.

  “Hopefully, I can find a man that understands my life and understands my purpose. I just need to find the right man,”

  She then added:

  “I hope I don’t die alone, that’s for damn sure,”

  She also shared that it is a bit difficult to date when you are in the spotlight.

  “It does affect certain decisions. Like, I’d love to go out to dinner with certain people I’ve met, but I can’t because everyone would be like, ‘Wow!!! They’re gonna get married!’

  Aw, I have no doublt she’ll find a good guy to settle down with.

  I said it the other day and I’ll say it again – I am really liking this darker shade of blonde on her. It even seems to have quite a red tinge to it. Here she is signing some autographs for fans after the presentation.

  Jessica Simpson Admits She Still Cares For John Mayer

  Jessica Simpson will always care about John Mayer. The singer-and-actress – who dated the ‘Gravity’ singer for nine months before splitting in May 2007 – admits she still has feelings for him even after he discussed their sex life in a recent interview, in which he called her “sexual napalm”.

  I will always care about him. I think he’s a great person, a great musician, but I was very disappointed by the article.”

  Normally you’d think someone you care about would keep those details to himself. It was definitely a compliment, in a way. I don’t really want people to know that about me. I’m like the good girl, then that happened. He gave away my game.”

  Jessica also revealed she is still on good terms with another ex-partner, footballer Tony Romo, even though he dumped her on her birthday last year. She told David Letterman:

  “Tony is great, still a friend of mine. I still look at his cute butt in the outfit – uniform. What went wrong? You’d have to ask him that. He broke up with me on my birthday. We are still good friends.”

  She sounds a little sour still. That was a hard pill to swallow though. Tony could have waited a few more days!!

  Ken Paves Says Jessica Simpson Worries About Other Women’s Feelings More Than Her Own

  Ken Paves took a few minutes to chat with UsMagazine.com in Miami Beach Tuesday at the Unite Unveiled event. He shared some of his thoughts on his best friend, Jessica Simpson and her lack of vanity:

  “She’s the the kind of girl who barely looks in the mirror,”

  He says that she worries more about others when the media scrutinizes her appearance:

  “She has such a huge conscience, when people call her fat, she worries about the women who are her size or greater and the effect it has on them.”

  Ken talked about the public’s perception of him:

  “People always relate me to Jessica,” he said. “They think she gave birth to me or something. So they think my whole identity of beauty is blonde, but my mother is Filipino-Portuguese and my father is Romanian Jewish.”

  Jessica and her dad, Joe, were snapped this afternoon outside of “The Late Show With David Letterman”. I’m sure she’s there to promote “The Price Of Beauty”. We’ve been hearing so much about it, do you plan to check it out?

  Jessica Simpson Can Still Trust People

  Despite being embarrassed and betrayed by ex-boyfriend John Mayer, Jessica Simpson told Ryan Seacrest it hasn’t made her more suspicious of people in general.

  “I’m not as guarded as you would think. I should probably be more guarded. I trust a lot of people, actually,” the actress and singer, 29, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Tuesday morning.

  Although she also made it clear she’s still upset about John’s comments and hasn’t forgiven him yet. I don’t blame her for that, but I’m glad to hear it hasn’t made her withdraw from people.

  Celebrities Attend The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Vanity Fair Party

  While the rest of the country turned off their TVs and headed to bed once the Oscars ended, the celebrities continued to party through the night. Charlize Theron, Taylor Lautner, Kate Beckinsale, Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Hilary Swank, Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Cameron Diaz, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry, and Russell Brand were among the A-listers who attended The 82nd Annual Academy Awards Vanity Fair Party.

  Hilary has some body doesn’t she? And she really loves to show it off. Cameron changed into another stunning dress. Can’t decide which one I like better – her ceremony or after party look. And Amy is simply glowing – I really love keeping up with her pregnant fashion choices. She does no wrong.

  Billy Corgan Shares His Feelings About Jessica Simpson

  Billy Corgan opened up to Rolling Stone magazine about his alleged relationship with Jessica Simpson. There was speculation that the two might be dating when the they were working together on the theme song for her new VH1 show “The Price of Beauty”.

  Billy says it’s a difficult thing to define with the media’s constant spin on things:

  “If I go, ‘Oh, we’re just friends,’ then it’s like, ‘Did they go out, did he dump her or she dump him, what happened?’ It has nothing to do with any of that,” he tells Rolling Stone. “Sometimes people just like being around each other, and good things come out of that.”

  He says that his goal in life is:

  “to love whoever I think is worth loving, and I think if people knew her like I knew her, they would love her like I do. It’s really simple.”

  That’s a sweet thing to say. I’m sure Jessica would much rather hear things like this in the press than the TMI John Mayer was spewing.

  Jessica Simpson Hates That People Know How She Is In Bed (Thanks John Mayer)

  Jessica Simpson hates people knowing what she is like in bed. When she got wind of John Mayer’s Playboy interview and how he used the term “sexual napalm” , she almost lost it.

  “I don’t want people to know how I am in bed.”

  The 29-year-old star also spoke about the criticism she has received regarding her fluctuating weight, and almost broke down in tears as she described how much the comments hurt her. Speaking to Oprah Winfrey on a show that will air on the 3rd:

  “It’s a really hard thing for me to talk about.”
