I love Greece, it is my favorite place to go, particularly Greek islands. However, I would never ever go to a touristy place there. I prefer going to some small island and enjoy pure, idyllic Greece, staying at some small family run b&b place and enjoying Greek hospitality and yummy Greek food. Beautiful beaches, crystal clear water and a wonderful scenery... can't wait: 2.5 weeks and Greece here I come :) Oh yeah and I love skiing in winter, love the Austrian mountains for that. it is the best place for skiing, I would say. In the poll I voted for tropical, even though Greece is definitely not tropical, however, it was the best suiting choice out of the ones above.

My boyfriend and I have talked about taking our honeymoon in Greece (we are not engaged yet, but Im sure it will happen soon, hehe!). His family was born in Kalymnos so we were thinking about a week in Athens/Santorini and then a week in Kalymnos. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I am sooo excited we have decided on this already!

hi there! aww, honeymoon in Greece is definitly a great idea, especially if you have never been to this beautiful country!! Kalimnos is a small and pretty island, lots of Greek hospitality and typically Greek scenery to see and experience. Santorini is definitely a great choice for the honeymoon, because it is just so pictorial with the white houses and the view on the vulkano. However, beach wise I'm not a big fan of sanotrini: it has black sand, because its an vulcano island. However, it is special to and a thing you should see once in your life ;) Plus since you are planning on going to Kalymnos as well, you can enjoy the pretty beaches there :) There are so many beatiful places in Greece :) I'm going to Zakynthos island in 2.5 weeks and I can't wait :))

Depends on what you *need* at that point in your life. My ideal vacation would be Europe. But sometimes I feel like DisneyWorld. I'd love the Canadian wilderness, but not the backpacking part.
