Tyra Banks Angers Audience Members

While audience members eagerly waited for The Tyra Banks show to start, the could hear the supermodel behind the curtain laughing it up with staff backstage. It would be one thing if the group had to wait for a few minutes. But some are complaining that they were forced to wait for nearly 2 hours!!
To make matters worse, once Tyra decided to get to work, she walked out on stage and just began to read from script! No apology. No reasoning. No greeting for the room. People are now calling her a "phoney".
"You could hear her going on and on because she was standing right behind the stage curtain. She’s talking and talking. Meanwhile, you have the entire audience waiting almost two hours for the taping to start."
"She leaves us waiting, and everyone is sitting there complaining, and then she comes out and doesn’t say a word about it. She didn’t even say hello, she got right into her script. She acted so cold towards everyone. She’s a phony."

it takes more than a host to make a show
she is a fat slobbering cow! she is a washed up B! everyone should of walked out so she entered to an empty audotorium. the people who stayed are idiots!
She is an egotistical idiot. She always references herself on both shows- no matter who she's talking to. I agree with the earlier post, everyone should have walked out...
Ive been saying this since day one... I cant STAND her show. Why is it still on? And when they replace her on ANTM, I will be one happy camper (wait, can they even do that?)!!
People seem to forget she is a 'supermodel' she's got an ego and money so she can do what she wants ;P
yeah, thats a shocker..NOT! it isnt anything that hasnt been said before. just watch one episode of ANTM & you can see it. she cuts up most of the girls behind their backs & then does a segment where she acts like she is all concerned about them. she only cares about herself & her ratings. its all business to her.

Like most have said....this isn't new news about her. You hear it all the time. I think any time you see a show you should expect some sort of wait, alot of work goes into the production. She still should have acknowledge the wait the audience just went through. It would have taken her two seconds and made alot of people feel better.
just because they could hear her talking backstage doesn't mean it was HER that was delaying the production. it could have been a number of things that were holding it up. i have no sympathy for these people, THEY'RE the ones that wanted to be in the taping. obviously, they already have some problems.

god i guess im the only one here that will say that I love her. It might not even be true. As for antm i love that too, and she has to criticize the girls. She does it to their face on the show, thats the business that they choose so whatever.
I don't know but this isn't the first report that she's rude and fake its been reported quite a few times in the past that she's kinda nasty to the audience and her guests. So there might be some truth to it.

My friend is a waitress in the city (and now a former fan of the supermodel), and when she mentioned how Tyra was a stuck up b!tch at her table, I admit it surprised me. She seems so real on her show, and even in magazine interviews as well. It now seems obvious, however. If she were truly happy with herself, she wouldn't be abusing her power.

I agree with Tiffany. I LOVE Tyra. I think she is a gorgeous and very confident woman. I like her show because I think she touches on some good issues that a lot of others are afraid to talk about.
i have hated tyra since as long as i've known she existed. she's a complete hypocrite. on one of her shows, America's next top model, u only win if you are anorexicly thin. on the Tyra show, she 'helps' anorexicly thin people gain weight. i swear, she is only this way because she is black. she is promoting an image that all black women are b*tches. if she really wants blacks to advance, why is she not being a good role model? she is the b*tchiest f*cking n*gger i have ever known.
I can totally understand why alot of people strongly dislike Tyra, but isn't it a bit much to say you hate someone that you don't know personally? I must admitt I am a fan of both ANTM & The T.B. show, however, Tyra does tend to make things about her alot, and that I definitely do not like at all. Whenever she is talking to someone about their problem she'll turn it around and say, "oh yea I remember when I..." or "My mama use to tell me..." That can be very annoying. Yet, like some of the others said every one has their mood swings so-to-speak... Another thing I don't like is how she is always pulling the race card. Don't get me wrong I have my strengths and weaknesses regarding the black race, but Tyra drives me crazy with the whole "It's a black thing." It makes her appear to be indirectly/directly racist. However, if we judge all by the actions of one are we not being stereotypical??? Tyra is her own person, but if I have to be judged I'd rather be criticized for my actions and not Tyras...
I live in NYC and have attended a total of 7 talk show tapings, including 2 tapings of the Tyra Banks Show. It is the standard for the audience to arrive 2 hours in advance for any show. There is security for several hundred people to go through, as well as release forms to be signed. Not a big deal. I can't tell you how many times I've heard Oprah say that she wakes up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and thinks about the people already in line for her show that day. Tyra comes out and does her job and doesn't interact much off camera with the audience, although each time, she has thanked the audience for coming.
I agree...I just saw a taping of her show and she was nice. Didnt interact much with us but she did say Hi. She's very goofy but looks plastic upclose...kindda scary but it's like that with all stars. I think its this spray that they put on them to look good on camera. But her staff is Amazing!! From the bodyguards to the audience coordinators and the producers..they were soo funny and VERY FRIENDLY! I had a great time :-)
